49 Scottish M PC gamer looking for chill gamers

Hiya, Im Baz 49 from Bonnie Scotland. Im looking for chill gamers who fancy playing a wide variety of games. Im love simulator games just now like FS25 but I play all sorts. Not competitive, I just enjoy a nice chill gaming session. I have quite a large steam library but always looking to try new games too.

My wife says I need more friends. She's probably right.

Is there a support group for middle-aged men who suddenly realise all their friends have vanished into family life, work, and the mysterious void?

I'm 49, a mature student, PC gamer, New to Warhammer, horror fan and tech geek. I've got a great wife, two rescue Staffies, and plenty going on, but I've realised I'm missing the social side of life.

Looking for recommendations for groups, clubs, gaming nights, coffee meetups or anything similar around Perth where a bloke can meet some new people and have a decent conversation without having to take up golf.

Fair warning: I have a shaved head, a beard, and apparently a resting expression that makes me look like I'm about to collect someone's gambling debts. In reality, I'm a friendly nerd who wants to talk about PC gaming, Warhammer, horror films, technology and well anything really, over a coffee.

Thanks in advance, and please tell me I'm not the only one who's looked up one day and thought, "Hang on... where did all my mates go?"

Would a PPPD-focused symptom and recovery tracking app be useful?

Hi everyone,

I'm a software engineering student and fellow PPPD sufferer, and I've been working on an idea for an app called VestiLog.

The idea came from my own experience of trying to track symptoms, triggers, good days, bad days, activities, recovery progress, and all the other things that seem to come with PPPD. I've never really found a tool that felt designed specifically for people dealing with vestibular disorders.

At the moment, I'm simply trying to gauge interest before I invest a lot more time into development.

Would anyone here be interested in using or testing an app designed specifically for people with PPPD and other vestibular conditions?

I'd also be interested in hearing what features you would find genuinely useful. My goal is to build something based on feedback from people who actually live with these conditions rather than making assumptions about what might help.

No sales pitch, no subscriptions planned, and nothing to download yet—I'm just looking for honest feedback and seeing whether this is something the community would find valuable.

Thanks!
