Ace Pro 2 52mm adapter issues

Hey everyone! I’m a total photography/cinematography noob, but I’m genuinely excited to be learning. Photography and filmmaking have been an obsession of mine since I was a kid, but I never really had the time or money to dive into it until recently.
I’ve had my Insta360 Ace Pro 2 for a while now and absolutely love it. I’ve seen some of the incredible stuff people are able to capture with this little camera, and I’m excited to keep learning and eventually build my skills to that level.
I recently bought this Puluz 52mm filter adapter that was advertised as fitting the Ace Pro 2, but I’m having some serious issues with it.
Has anyone used this specific adapter or something similar?
I’d love to find a reliable way to run traditional 52mm filters on the AP2. Being able to experiment with different filters and expand what I can do with the camera would be awesome. I just don’t want to risk damaging a $400+ camera over an $11 adapter.
Any advice, recommendations, or experience with these adapters would be greatly appreciated!

1st Bolt Gun Build - Need Suggestions

Long-time reader, first-time poster. I’m a pretty avid hunter and recently decided to take on my first ground-up bolt gun build for backcountry hunting, most likely in .375 Raptor or 8.6 BLK.

I’ve built multiple ARs, but this will be a completely new experience for me. One thing that’s caught me off guard is the insane price of actions that aren’t complete garbage.

Are there any solid R700 actions out there at a reasonable price? I’m having a hard time justifying $1,000+ for an action alone when I could buy a complete CM7S for a little over $2,500 and be done.

Am I missing something here? Is spending $1k+ on the action just the reality of building a quality bolt gun, or are there some sleeper/budget-friendly options I should be looking at?

Any recommendations or advice would be appreciated.
