5’7 42kgs (92.5 lbs) - 4 months to get to 60kgs?

Im 5’7 and 42kgs and I have until the end of this year to change (i.e. reach 60kgs and not be underweight for the firdt time in my life). I wanna know what I should do and eat and preferably what apps (free) can I utilize?

Background:
Ive always been like this. Main reason is that I can go days without even realizing that im hungry. If theres work that needs to be complete, i can delay eating until the next day or day after if needed.

Eating has always been a painful task so id rather just make a smoothie or something and gulp it fown with my nose closed because im such a picky eater. Eating a plate takes me hours… Forget about cooking btw.. literally dont have time for that atm and im such a bad cook its not even funny. The amount of times I “meal prepped” and had to throw food in the garbage cuz it was either burnt or just tasted like vomit.

My plan (so far):

I have a gym membership (its 10 min walk away). I wanna know what I should do.

As for the eating part.. i have no idea. For the workout, i thought id go 4 days a week (upper - bench, rows, bicep curls, tricep, lat pulldowns. Lower - squats, deadlift, crunches, leg ext, leg curl). I plan to stay in the gym \~45 mins to an hour max.

If going more often or doing more exercises will help lmk.

How to effectively use RDS with serverless backend for db migrations?

I'm using AWS SAM to provision API Gateway, Lambdas, and RDS. I want to know how I can do database migrations easily without having to keep up an EC2 instance just for the purpose of connecting to the RDS db and running db migrations?

I wanted to use something like alembic so that most of the migration stuff is automated but ig I can't really use that.

Need KVM Switch with dual DisplayPort cable support + Mac to Linux support

I have a MacBook Pro work laptop and a Pop_OS PC.

Currently I have a KVM switch that supports 1 HDMI port and 1 DisplayPort (which drives me nuts). But also, the peripherals don't correctly to Mac when I switch for some reason. It works fine if it's another Linux/Window laptop.

I just want cheap recommendations :p

What other compatible GUIs are there with v24.04?

I made a post earlier of being able to view applications only specific to the workspace I'm in (i.e. in the dock or in the applications menu). Seems like it's "in the works" but unfortunately, my productivity is slowing down considerably for me to wait until it's implemented (if it's implemented).

I've never changed a GUI on a linux distro before. Given the opportunity now, I'd like to explore a little bit. What's a GUI, other than GNOME, that works flawlessly with PopOS v24.04 and has incredible features and speed?

Also, is installing a GUI a straightforward process? Or should I expect to witness some crazy issues?

Just upgraded to v24.04, Dock is driving my crazy

I just wanna me able to see ONLY the apps/windows in the current workspace and scroll through them using the keyboard shortcuts I setup. Idk why this isn't already a thing. Is there any extensions, external apps, or anything else I can download and setup to make the Dock stuff work like it did in gnome?

Everything else is great. But this specific aspect just makes me wanna switch back.

How do I learn how to architect a system?

Yes I know the question is extremely broad and complex. I'm simply looking for a starting point (or middle point).

I've been working on designing an SPA using AWS services for an NPO for the past few months. I've realized that the system works but I'm not happy with it. I know it can be better (more organized, a more sophisticated and automated system). I often find myself asking questions like: should these be a microservices architecture? Should it be a event-driven? some sort of layered architecture? How should the tests be? Is this the best programming language to use?

I know quite a few of those questions and doubts are best to be left to "whatever ur comfortable with". But I like to get into the nitty gritty. Are there certain books/youtube videos/etc that I can look into to learn about the basics of system design and architecture up to an intermediate or expert level? The only one I know of is Hello Interview.

I'm on Pop_OS (debian-based distro) and I setup Unity + VSCode on it.

My only complaint is that VSCode doesn't work exactly. If I type in built-in Unity methods (Like OnCollisionEnter), intellisense will give me a drop down and will autocomplete upon pressing tab. But it doesn't give me that drop down when I do "gameObject." or if I start typing "GetComp".

Also, when I import a package, like DoTween, it fails to recognize that package in the VSCode editor. It doesn't give me the autocomplete options and it displays it as an error when I import it (until I recompile it in Unity).

What I've already done:
- I rebuilt the source code
- Ensured VSCode package is already up to date.
- Ensured VScode is the external editor

I tried apps but the issue with apps is that I can always find a way to uninstall/remove them. I've tried those apps that require passwords and I gave the passwords away to my friends/family but unfortunately it's easy to get the password back.

The reason I'm looking for an OS is that I know I'll be too lazy to switch OS again on my phone. I was looking up GrapheneOS but couldn't really find if there's a way to do that on it yet.

Just in case anyone asks: The only stuff I do on my phone is browse through social media, play chess, watch anime, Youtube, calls on Google Meet and Whatsapp. There's no pictures taken or anything like that. All the work stuff like emails, research, etc I do it on my pc.
