[LANCER][Async] Twin Worlds

There are two worlds in this... World. The Human World, where the Tallmen live, and the Tiny World beneath them. To the Tallmen, you are little more than insects. To yourselves, you are kingdoms, Clans, knights and warriors caught in centuries of war.

The Great Clans have ruled Tinykind for generations, each with their own traditions, territories and machines. The Rig changed everything. These towering engines of war gave Tinykind strength beyond their natural limits, and now every Clan wants them. Every Clan has its enemies, and every battlefield is another chance to prove whose machines are the best.

Deep beneath Clan territory, miners have uncovered a rich vein of ore, only to disappear after reporting strange movement further down the tunnels. Now the Clan wants answers, and more importantly, it wants its mine back.

[LANCER][Asynchronous][Discord] ANGEL x MACHINA

  1. The Great War has become a war against Hell. Demons have emerged from beneath Europe, slaughtering armies and overrunning cities. Human weapons are almost useless against them. In desperation, the great powers began capturing the beings they call Angels, butchering their bodies and binding their remains into enormous war machines. Their bones become armor, their blood becomes fuel, their nerves become circuitry. These machines, known as Warmachines, are the only weapons capable of killing demons.

You have been recruited by the United Nations to investigate a Hell Incursion in a nearby UN encampment on Mars.

Hello all. Hellion here again. Recently recovered from a harsh accident and wanting to get back into the hobby by trying out: LANCER!!! I recently finished a PbP using it, while short, were incredible. I have found myself a new obsession and that is the silly mech game.

Now how else can I combine this new obsession? My SECOND but old obsession. This alternate history setting I call ANGEL x MACHINA (you can notice the reference I hope) where humanity butchers angels in order to fight back against a foe that defies metaphysics.

[Online][5e 2024][Live Text/PbP] Gorn, A Primal World

Hello. I am Hellion, 30 today yippeeeee!!, she/her. Decided to run something in DnD 2024 as it seems to be something more familiar to this community but I'm looking to run a Live Text game over on the Discord.

Gorn is a primal fantasy setting where civilization evolved sideways instead of industrially. Across thousands of years, mortals developed astonishing forms of ecological, biological, and cultural sophistication without ever becoming a modern world.

Most people live in clans, migratory tribes, river settlements, hunting caravans, and fortress villages shaped entirely by the wilderness around them. Daily life revolves around herding, scavenging, hunting, raiding, fishing, oral tradition, ritual, and survival within a world dominated by immense forests, flooded wetlands, volcanic plains, frozen wastelands, and colossal beasts.

Ancient civilizations existed long before the current age and their remains still shape the world, though they feel mythological rather than technological. Massive ruins, buried roads, canyon cities, and overgrown monuments loom across the landscape like natural features. Most people no longer understand who built them or why.

Level: 1, campaign will go up to 10, maybe 12.

Restrictions: Available races are all within the player's handbook. No other add-ons are allowed, if you want to use any content from them we can discuss that.

Inspirations: Some inspirations I took. Genndy Tartatovsky's Primal, Ark Survival Evolved, Conan the Barbarian.

Playstyle: What do you enjoy most in campaigns? Combat, roleplay, exploration, politics, survival, horror, character drama, etc.

Availability: What's your timezone? For live text, what days/times work best? And for how long? For async, how often can you usually reply?

Lines & Veils: Any topics, themes, or content you absolutely do not want included.

Expectations: What are you hoping to get out of the campaign.

And optionally any questions you have for me or the setting. I have a primer in the works, I will share it with applicants when I finish it but that's optional, it's mostly worldbuilding.
