LMAOOO do the people on this sub even KNOW what feminism is?

Yk what. Respecting others beliefs, right? I mean....sure.

It'd be interesting to find out how exactly "antifeminist" belief systems function.

I'm a teenage feminist.

So go ahead. Ask me anything.

Menstrual cups?: anxious about using them as a teenager.

Hi! I have always used pads. Never tried tampons, cups, or discs. But the thing is, I have a heavy flow, and we all know that pads do get a lil bit messy.

Plus whenever one is out, there is no guarantee of always finding dustbins in the restroom.

So. I am thinking of switching to menstrual cups, after having a talk with a family member who has been using them for 7 years now. I would ask her all my questions, but she's a little bit on the shy/conservative side, and I don't feel comfortable either.

I request the ladies to suggest:

  1. Your recommended menstrual cups, tried and tested

  2. ANY tips you have, any advice, any things you've learnt from your experiences

  3. Does it uh, actually hurt to use initially?

  4. How do I store it?

  5. Sterilization. Please recommend sterilizing machines

  6. Things to keep in mind while wearing it

  7. How many do I even buy, since school ke bag me ek, ghar pe ek, travelling bla bla

  8. How tf does one actually use it

Thank you!
