Can Someone Explain What Happened in this Picture

I made an ingot of a tin-bismuth alloy I mixed myself. As the ingot cooled these very tiny almost perfect spheres formed on the surface exposed to the air. I tried to removed one with tweezers but I couldn't. I've never seen this happen before as I've done castings numerous times including working with this alloy. The only thing I can think of is this is a gas bubble encased in metal that slowly crept above the surface. Pictures attached. Photo taken with my Pixel 10, tweezers for scale in the second image.

Anyone do "Weighted" Cardio?

Over the last year my fitness goals have shifted from strength to longevity. Cardio is better for longevity, no question about that, but strength is still relevant especially as you get older. My career is also picking up and I don't have the time to sit in the gym for 90 min/session like I used too.

I am not a very good runner and I like being strong so I decided to try something different and combine the two modalities of training. Basically, I do things like farmers carries with a moderate weight for 1 mile, do the stair stepper with a heavy vest, and lifting with short rest periods. I also like that I can get a solid workout in about 30 minutes.

Overall I feel much better than when I did pure strength training and I don't feel like I lost much (if any) muscle. The biggest thing for me is my stamina is improved greatly and my joints feel much better. My body weight hasn't changed appreciably. I'm also noticing I recover extremely fast from physical activity too.

I'm curious if anyone else trains like this and what kind of results they got. Are there any programs you followed for specific goals?

How to Select Best Aerodynamic Wheel Covers?

Thinking of buying some aerodynamic wheel covers to get a little better MPG. I do a lot of highway driving and the occasional road trip with my Fiance and dog. The expected 2-3% mpg savings could really add up.

Would like some advice on how to select the right size, type, and quality wheel cover. Some look nice but are expensive (~$1000) others look like cheap plastic pizza trays and are much cheaper, but do they still get the job done?

Alternatively, I have access to a machine shop and could make my own but I'm not sure if there are plans available and the level of effort required.
