Anyone heard of these Mordaunt Short ms45ti speakers?

Saw this today at my local thrift store. Heavy and well made. Super super unfortunate. There was only one! There was no matching pair! I tried to look everywhere gods knows why. I considered buying the one but thought it could be impossible to source the other. Are they really good? Or just sub par?

Anyone used these batteries and recommend them?

It's a dangerous game to buy cheap budget lithium batteries... But it's just too tempting. It's at least a lifePo4 type. They are $399 from road tech marine/jaycar. The real reason I'm interested. There's a brand new one in cash converters at the moment for $249. You get 3 months warranty. Obviously a year buying from road tech/jaycar. But if they run hot or have a bad or cheap BMS im not interested. Are they better than kings batteries?

I have an old iMac (late 2013), is it really worth upgrading to Catalina 10.15.7

I have a iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013) running Mojave 10.14.6. Its been flawless for years. I upgraded to a faster SSD and Ram. All works well, but its really long in the tooth now. But I just browse the web. My Firefox, Chrome, Brave etc are all well and truly out of date I cant get new downloads and plugins etc. But I am coping fine. the last "latest" version I can upgrade to thats newer is only Catalina 10.15.7. Which finished its support in Nov 2022. Big Woop haha! I know this is the big next upgrade osx that got rid of all future 32 bit support. That does not bother me. When I look into it and research it just doesnt seem worth upgrading. People seem to praise Mojave. Am I wrong? I wish my Late 2013 iMac could get Big Sur or Monterey or Ventura or Sonoma etc but it cant unless you instal a patcher?

Anyone have the exact same iMac what did you do?

as always...why are the charts so LAGGY!

I am in the combine and trying so hard. but its beyond a joke. the topstep x platform is so slow, laggy, and charts freeze all the time. changing the data update speed makes no difference. I cannot get my 1 min entries. or even 5 min entries. I am loosing money and trades because its not fast and fluent.

Contender for the worst laptop?

I want to throw this thing off a bridge and never look back. The Acer Spin Series 3. From 2018. Intel core i5 8th Gen with 8GB Ram. None of that matters because it's just complete useless garbage.

It just goes to sleep all the time and has a black screen of death. You can't turn it back on. You have to hard reset it. Happens every second day. The keyboard sucks. The charger port is too small. The track pad is non responsive. The keyboard layout is terrible with the brightness button right next to turn off wifi module. On the wifi... It doesn't work. Ever! If you plug the HDMI cable in before the charger it's fine, if you do it after then it shuts down.

There is a common network card problem from user forums. I spent $120 at a computer repair store with someone trying to diagnose and fix it and update drivers etc. within 2 weeks the issue was back. It literally only works off Ethernet cable. Battery life sucks.

Ironically the only decent thing is the touch screen. But the whole swivel around screen feature is useless because then it goes back into screen of death if you leave the laptop alone for 15 mins on standby.

I literally could go on ..... 😂

The one that got away!

Behold the AIWA SC-51 Bookshelf Speaker. I grabbed these from a thrift store for $30 I believe. Impeccable condition too. These beauties were truly magical sounding. I had them for only a month and barely listened to them hooked up. I was so impressed with them but had too many speakers lying around I decided to sell them knowing I could get decent money for them. I sold them for a mere $100. And I regret it every day now haha! I cannot find a single pair anywhere for sale here in Australia. Anyone seen this or heard of AIWA speakers during this time period? Would love to get my hands on another pair the same one day.

Does anyone else feel like the more technology tries to 'connect' us together, the more disconnected we become

This has been on my mind for quite some time and I can't help but think it's just so true of a saying. A simpler world once existed before technology and media portrayed through the socials....and human beings were happier. I don't think the human brain is capable and designed to have to absorb it all the way it does. Because we are more depressed than ever. Sicker than ever. Am I just too narcissistic? I am positive and happy for the new inventions we use daily. But wow does it make you think hard

Both myself and our newborn son were on a string of antibiotics after quite an intense birth. Nothing went as planned and ended up being an emergency C section. Both mum and bub are perfectly healthy and doing great.

I am well aware of just how much antibiotics can and will completely destroy the gut micro biome and all of your immune system. Making you have to start all over again which can increase the risk of of a few things.

I was recommended for mother to have Qiara pregnancy and breastfeeding. And for bub to have drops into his milk of BioGaia.

Am I on the right track? What else can I be doing to make things as best as they can be. We are heading into winter and I just want to make sure our immune systems bounce back. Thank you!
