If I bring 3 friends over and we all have controllers we can all just connect and play together no problem, but Halo Campaign Evolved requires everyone to have a subscription to online to gamepass or ps+ just to play coop? Correct me if I’m wrong but if this is the situation we’re in Halo Studios (343i) has learned nothing from the outside world in the past 15 years.

They’ll go out of their way to nerf Yarrick before he gets into mailboxes but not fix the easy missing keyword from Graves? It’s worrying to think that GW thinks Yarrick is better than a Space Marine Terminator Captain with the points they’re at now. On top of all that the lack of decent lore regarding their new vehicle releases just rings a bell that something isn’t right with how they’re running Warhammer 40K.

There’s so many easy wins they could do with the lore to add new and exciting models but instead they expect us to think the guard have always had Dorns and centaurs when for the last 30 years when they haven’t. I’m worried there’s going to be a massive divide in the fan base like how Dr Who and Star Wars have gone through and it’ll be disastrous.

I wanted to make an appreciation post for all the comments I received in the last, it really motivated me to not give up on the guard. There was quite a few comments that helped me realize I shouldn’t take it so hard on myself and the guard when my opponent forgets his rules or if the game doesn’t go my way with a mistake from screening. There’s lots of strategies I’ve yet to fully utilize and it would be a shame to leave such a cool faction behind for the meta cheeseball terminator army I want to sink to 😂

I’ll try to keep the salt in the kitchen for future posts, a week of rough games just wracked my brain.

My entire battleline gets hit with Ignores Cover and -1ap for his entire army, so there goes my battleline I spent weeks painting all done. Turn 2 deep strike 30 Aborants into my deploy zone 6” away from my tanks killing them all. Rockgrinders all have 6 flamers in them so any surviving infantry all gone. Tanks get hit with 6 mining lasers so they’re toasted. If this is the gameplay I have to look forward to I’m done with guard, they suck unless you take soup meta army. With deep strike 6” might as well pretend the rest of the board doesn’t exist because I’m trapped in my deploy zone.

Sorry I’m incredibly salty and I know I’m not that good at the game but this just sucked, completely ruined any motivation I had to play guard further after spending thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours painting only for me to regret not taking the meta soup list or fucking space marines.

All mobile profiles now hit on 3’s, Ratlings continue winning for another year lads time for second breakfast!
