Latin Americans in Japan (2024) by me
Most of these numbers are from Brazilian and Peruvian nikkeijin (diaspora) who repatriated back to Japan. As a Latino myself with a Japanese friend whose parents grew up in Argentina, I really wanted to make this map. My sources come from the official Japanese Immigration Services Agency.
The highest concentration of Latin Americans is in Aichi and Shizuoka, with places like Gunma and Mie also major centers.
