I’m currently thinking about buying a 2026 Chevrolet 2500HD. I can’t decide on gas or diesel and I wanted some advice. I don’t necessarily need the diesel for the towing capacity. I do plan on paying off and keeping this truck for the foreseeable future unless something drastic happens. I know people say that diesel is better for long term, but is it worth 10k and the cost of dealing with DEF along with higher fuel prices? I won’t be doing a ton of towing but I will do some occasionally. What are y’all’s thoughts?
