Sending 4,000 Cold Emails a Day Through Instantly and Only Getting 12 Replies. What Am I Missing?

Hey everyone,

I'm hoping to get some feedback from people who have experience running large-scale cold email campaigns through Instantly.ai.

I recently launched my campaign after spending approximately two months warming up all my email accounts before sending a single cold email.

Here's my current setup:

  • Platform: Instantly.ai
  • Daily sending volume: Approximately 4,000 emails
  • Warm-up period: 2 months
  • Lead quality: All leads have been verified and vetted
  • Campaign duration: 1 day so far
  • Total replies: Approximately 12 out of 4,000 emails
  • Reply rate: 0.3%

My concern is that despite investing heavily in the infrastructure, warming up the accounts properly, and ensuring my lead lists are clean, the response rate seems extremely low.

I understand that cold emailing is a numbers game, but 12 replies from 4,000 emails seems unusually low, especially considering the preparation that went into this campaign.

I'm genuinely trying to understand whether I'm missing something.

Is this normal for Instantly users? Could this be a deliverability issue where emails are landing in spam despite the accounts being warmed up?

Or is the business model essentially designed around encouraging users to continuously scale their sending infrastructure to compensate for low response rates?

I'm not trying to criticize Instantly. I'm genuinely looking for advice from people who have successfully scaled campaigns using the platform.

Baha mar or Royal Atlantis?

Planning a trip to Bahamas and want the honest opinions. It’s between these two hotels. I really want to go to the water park at Atlantis. Do you have to pay extra to go if you are staying at the resort? Can you buy a day pass to the water park ? Anyways I need your help!
