Hi everyone, I opened a British Gas account 6 months ago for the property I moved into, however I was looking at my credit report and on the British Gas section they have my date or birth recorded as 01/01/0001? My date of birth is correct on all my other credit accounts apart from the British Gas one.
Is this a mistake or have they just not recorded my date of birth?

I was looking through my Experian credit score account because I’m hoping to try and get a mortgage in the near future and I was looking at my settled accounts. One of them being EE who I was with for a few years, however I noticed on the website it says November-January was marked as “Dormant” so I downloaded my file and had another look and it says 2023 November D -£17 2023 December D £0 and 2024 January D £0.
I assumed this just meant it was dormant but I looked it up anyway but it turns out it means I defaulted on the payments?
I looker through all my old bank statements and found each month and each one of those months had been paid in full via Direct Debit, there was definitely money in the accounts as well. The dates vary slightly due to weekends ect. Then the payment is normal for February 2024, it was in February i decided to end my rolling contract and move to another provider.
I have tried logging into the EE website and app to see my bills but for some reason I just loads forever and I cant access them. I plan to phone EE and Experian tomorrow to see if I can get to the bottom of this.
Has anyone any idea what could be going on here?

When filling out all the information for a vehicle insurance policy, when it asks “Do you have access to any other vehicles?” It only lets you pick one option from the drop down bar.
So say for example you’re taking out car insurance, but you also drive a van and a motorcycle. Are you suppose to select the one that you drive more often to give them a more realistic idea of what you drive day to day?
On the price comparison sites and some of the official insurance websites you cant even phone to get a quote over the phone, it can only be done online.
