Got my X300 Ultra 2 days ago (Indian Variant) and I'm not so happy with it
I have vivo X100 Pro and I'm using it from last 2 years. It works great and it's camera is still outstanding.
After vivo X300 ultra was announced, I was excited to try it because vivo brought their ultra phone in India for the first time. So I pre-booked it and it got delivered 2 days ago.
After powering on the phone, I was very disappointed because it's display is not good. X100 Pro has a clean display which is on cooler side, and the pictures look very clean. But X300 Ultra's display has a warmer tone by default and pictures look kind of pale (I don't like warm tone).
Then I opened the camera and it has a lot of settings which are quiet good. But the worst thing about the camera is that it is not consistent. Human subject's face becomes dark in most of the photos and for good lighting conditions, photos become overexposed. X100 Pro has none of these issues and it clicks great photos which are social media ready. X100 Pro's telephoto lens sharpness is also better than X300 Ultra when I tried to compare it (however X100 Pro sometimes smoothens the images to make it look clear and beautiful, which looks like oil painting)
I feel like going from X100 Pro to X300 ultra is a downgrade because if the display and camera are not good, what will I do with a superfast processor?
I hope vivo fixes these issues with updates.
Is there any fellow X300 Ultra user here who noticed the same thing with the phone?
Need input from X300 Ultra users
I recently upgraded from X100 Pro to X300 Ultra and I feel like X300 ultra's display isn't as good as X100 Pro.
X300 Ultra's display is on warmer side and has a yellowish tint which makes the images look a little pale, but X100 Pro's display is excellent and has cooler tone which makes the images look authentic.
Cam X300 ultra users confirm if there device also has a warmer display?
Also, the camera of X100 Pro is producing sharper images whereas X300 ultra's images look dull (although colors are more accurate for X300 Ultra).
Need some clarity about X300 Ultra
I use vivo X100 Pro and I like it very much. I purchased X300 Ultra yesterday and I'm not liking it very much. The display of X100 Ultra has warmer colors if compared with X100 Pro. Also the camera of X300 Ultra doesn't seem as good as X100 Pro.
Can you guys confirm if your device display also on a warmer color tone side (slightly yellowish)?
