All acts of living are inherently suicidal
So, basically, if I do something that I know causally will lead to another act, then we can say that I am willingly pursuing that act.
We know for certain that we will die and through every action(and inaction) we let time go by we get closer to death. Moreover, by engaging in these acts, like having a job, a family and, in general, following a closing-arc trajectory of life, we a) make life go by faster and b) acknowledge the finality of death.
I therefore assert that every action and state of existance is inherently suicidal.
Thank you very much, I will return to my 5oz of whiskey.
Buyers not picking up their orders?
Hey there!
I was curious to see if anyone else has had a similar experience recently. In the past two weeks I've had 3 buyers that have ordered a product only to then not pick it up from the locker. What I found weird was that it was all the same scenario where someone just came and bought the item, full price, no negotiation, no questions asked, only to then not pick it up and be radio silent when I hit them up with the friendly 'Hey, your order has been delivered, make sure to pick it up blah blah blah'. I can understand that people impulse buy on this platform and then regret, but damn. It also sucks that for all of said items I had actual interested buyers who have since lost interest.
I do think it's pretty damn awful how vinted set this up so that the buyer can do this to weasel out of a sale without a single consequence. It wastes the time and sometimes the money of the seller. I think that it would be a lot more fair if it was so that there was some kind of penalty, that would force the buyer to go through the usual refund channels instead of just vanishing. At the end of the day, if I as a seller don't hold up my end of the transaction I, at the very list, get hit with a 1 star review that can seriously impact the account.
So yeah, as i said, I was just wondering if anyone else has encountered this recently.
