I will not return for this cycle or any future cycle until self-jumping is reinstated.

I accept that PVP is just part of the game.

I don't accept locking new players to a whopping 3 systems with a bunch of tryhard PVP sentry spammers.

I don't know what I'm supposed to be testing this cycle, but I can't make any progress. I just finished my first Lai, someone attacked my network node, and when I popped out to shoot back he had 8 sentry turrets just lined up to volley me instantly.

I started in Cycle 5 and I loved the ability to jump to any system so long as I had the fuel. The exploration was such a cool part of the experience.

Losing the map made the exploration even more alluring to me, but I come back to find I can only use stargates or catapults? Ok, let me set up to make a catapult, oh haha just kidding! I built a mini turret and it chewed through 80 rounds of ammunition on a single volley. There is nothing but carbanaceous asteroids in the starter systems. The SINGLE ingot asteroid I saw two jumps away had mini turrets guarding it.

"Oh, but you can mine the debris fields!" There are too many people in too small a space, full stop. I can't escape the starter systems, I can't establish myself in the starter systems, and all the free fuel in the world isn't going to change that.

I've been a staunch advocate for this "game" being in alpha state, but I don't understand what I'm supposed to be helping to test if I have zero opportunity to progress beyond a mini printer.

That's it for me until they give solo players an opportunity to fuck off out of shitterville.

The decision to let network nodes be placed anywhere was a mistake

Tried to come in and enjoy the new cycle, but I can't make any progression from the starter systems. I've been killed three separate times by mini turrets that were set up at refueling locations. I don't even have time to warp off before I'm dead.

I'm not sure what the plan here was, but I can't play a cycle that's going to allow PVP shenanigans in the starter systems with no way out.

Every single rock is hollowed out. Most of the fuel depots I've encountered have mini turrets camping them. It's a wash. Better luck next cycle.

AMD, opening the in-game map causes game to crash, launcher does not update "Client is running" until computer restart.

What the title says. I don't have to time to diagnose the issue, but I can't play this cycle until it's fixed.

Everest Restaurant and Bar is a wonderful Nepalese spot in Antioch that I used to frequent when I lived a bit closer; I think I'll bring them flowers.

They always gave me extra portions of the spicy tomatoes when I asked.

Most Nepalis are Hindu or Buddhist (with a mix of indigenous traditions), and in both, white flowers are strongly associated with death and mourning.

Marigolds are also significant in Hindu and Nepali funeral rites.

I apologize if this isn't the right place, time, or way to express my condolences. I am powerless to change the outcomes of the tragedy in Nepal. All I have is the belief that grief is easier when it's shared.

[Discussion] Can someone explain how transit XP boost is supposed to work, because it doesn't seem to be doing anything on PVP.

Was pretty stoked about doing some transits for bonus XP. Felt really neat restocking my ammo, meds, and food stuffs on different maps then carrying on. Finished a raid and got the typical XP.

Does Transit PVP just not work anymore? Is there some issue with repeating a map or doing a "run-through" that completely negates the XP gain? Does dying prevent the XP gain? The wiki is suggesting the only thing a player need do is transit; there are no stipulations on when, in what order, or how quickly I transit.

Might not be a bug, but I couldn't transit as a scav, and now my scav is wearing the gear I couldn't take out? [BUG]

He also had a broken leg so... yeah looking forward to what happens I guess.
