Traveling from PA to MD with Guns Law

Later this year I’m planning to visit my friend in MD and I’m traveling from PA with a handgun and rifle. The idea is we meet at the range in MD, then go back to their house for dinner before I return home to PA. Ive looked at past posts and MD law but still confused if this is allowed or if i can only travel from PA to MD range and then back to PA.

Ramp Build Recommendation for Shed on Hill?

This shed is about 8 years old, and was put in by the previous owners. I have used it much for the 5 years I’ve lived here but starting to more.

Problem is the slope is pretty significant, and on the low end the height is ~12” which doesn’t make it the easiest to get even small stuff in or out.

I’d like to build a ramp, but concerned how to approach due to the slope. I won’t be storing any ride on mowers or large equipment, largest would be a push mower or wheelbarrow.

Should I do a gravel base, pavers, or pour a small pad? I’m also concerned about water runoff hitting hits the side and rotting PT lumber prematurely.

Not Flawless Wall mounting Skylight 2

I bought the Skylight 2 a month ago for our family, and one thing I wanted to do was give it a permanent home on the wall. The included bracket is easy to install and setup considering the built in level, however if you want a truly seamless and cordless install, it’s difficult to do well.

The reason being is the power brick is so large, it will not fit in any single-gang recessed outlet. I tried the Leviton recessed outlet ($12), but the brick is too tall to be plugged in. I sourced a larger recessed one on Amazon from Arlington brand. While the brick fits into the recessed outlet, it is still too thick to sit flush or recessed in the outlet. It sits proud approximately 5/8”. To remedy this, I cut a small piece of 3/4” plywood to back the bracket and bring the calendar out far enough from the wall that the charging brick has space. This worked, but the calendar can become shaky when touching the edges since it’s not flush with the wall.

Overall, I love the calendar but think it was a big miss to have a charging block that large and also not allow USB-C charging (there is a port on the back but only used for production - likely software uploading and testing). I could have sourced a smaller brick, but was already committed and ready to finish the wall mount by the time it was noticed.
