I was reading Campbell's Biology for an exam tomorrow and came across this line: "A trait that is favorable in one place or time may be useless—or even detrimental—in other places or times."
It got me wondering: are there any examples of the opposite of this? ie., are there any now-extinct species that had characteristics (detrimental or otherwise) that would make them absolutely dominate in the modern world?

The YouTube channel above seems to be posting AI-generated art of their followers' profile pictures. I tried looking for some of the telltale AI signs, but couldn't find any, which is what is confusing to me.

I think it's AI mostly because of the posting frequency. The channel posts these shorts every day, and multiple times a day (8 times once), which seems highly unlikely if it's legitimate art of such high quality.

The channel is called FakeAccount and FakeSketch as well, so maybe the joke's on me ;-;
