Darren confronted Cindy stating that he had heard from Mandy about Hilton. Cindy burst into tears claiming that she didn't mean to lose her little boy. What does this mean? Did they just kill off Hilton off screen in a bid to not have to recast him?

Well Cindy never did say that Hilton was dead. Is it possible that he's been kidnapped? Let's look at the character being possibly dead and what that means. This explains why Cindy has returned to the village and is so desperate to get to know Maddox. She has lost one of her sons and she doesn't want to lose another. This is a secret that she is trying to keep hidden as it may be too much to bear. She blames herself for what happened to Hilton. It would also paint her as a bad mother depending on how the events took place.

What if hes been kidnapped? Blue is actually still alive and he managed to find Cindy and Cindy has had to work for him by getting money from Beth by pushing this narrative about Maddox as much as she possibly can. Maddox is Cindy's and perhaps she and Beth did swear to keep the situation hidden but now Blue is forcing her hand in order to make sure that Hilton is fine. Hilton is of course always going to be fine. This is just a money making scheme on Blues part. This would also then lead into a shock twist. What if it's Cindy that shot Rex dead? She's carrying out Blues tasks for him and he wanted rid of Rex resulting in her shooting him.

Blue would then inform corrupt lawyer, James that he can return safely home now to the man that he loves and as long as James continues to do hearings for Blue and his men to make sure that they avoid jail time. Blue and James met off screen and he's responsible for James actually surviving the explosion of the car and why James never returned to the village. Blue only allowed James to return to the village during any time that Froggy needed help as Froggy is as big a kingpin as Blue is.

However as Cindy stays in the village she begins to actually want to get to know her son. Her maternal instincts are kicking in. This is why she didn't accept the money to leave this time around. Also Blue has yet to ask for more money. All she's been told is that Hilton is safe in Blues care for now. Cindy could be stressed and pulled in multiple directions over everything. And while this whole Blue scenario is completely far fetched it's fun to come up with as a completely shocking storyline twist that we wouldn't see coming. I will say this though..based on how recent events have gone down I wouldn't be surprised if Cindy tells Darren that maybe Hilton is dead and then we proceed to see Hilton later down the line to everyone's confusion.

Cindy is definitely really pushing to know Maddox for reasons that we have yet to truly know. She just doesn't start out of the blue thinking that she really wants to see this kid and kicking up such a fuss without something truly big happening off screen that we don't know about. I think on the surface level this all seems rather tame in terms of a story but the news of Hilton is a small sample of stuff to build upon going forward and making something even bigger out of the story than we first thought.

Who killed Rex? Let's look at potential suspects and why they would all consider what they've done..

1. Ro:

Ro seems like an odd choice on paper but Ro is able to come into the garage unannounced and not startle Rex. Why would Ro shoot Rex though? Ro has been finding it extremely tough with Diane and while Tony's other kids are being more focused on I would consider that Ro ended up in a downward spiral, getting very drunk. He ends up being so drunk that he lashes out on the man that broke his heart. Whether or not he has any memory the following day is another thing.

2. Ste:

Again Ste is another out of the blue consideration. He appeared happy the next morning before the Rex news but had a black plastic bag in hand. We see by the trailer that he goes from what seems like a dark place to being with James rather quickly. Why would he get over Rex that quickly? It's an insane pitch but what if Ste went to see Rex and ended up killing him after being fed up with his games? Again this is a very big wildcard. It would provide us with a very dark version of Ste.

3. James:

James wants Ste back in his life and perhaps has been watching in secret at all the goings on looking for a chance to swoop in. In the end he kills Rex for how Rex has been with Ste. It's a way to worm his way back into Stes life. Who knows? Maybe it was a hired hit on James' behalf?

4. Blue:

What if Dave never died? We saw what appeared to be Robbie Roscoe shooting him but we never did see Dave on screen during the shooting. He wasn't heard begging for mercy. The time jump then showed missing posters for Blue. His body has seemingly never been found. With Cindy back is Blue not far behind and if he isn't then has Cindy joined his side? Blue taking out Rex again would be a stretch because Rex didn't seem too shocked at the person's arrival. Wouldn't he be if it was Blue?

5. Clare Devine:

Clare was pushed to her death by Sienna. Would she return and go after family once again? A big maybe on this one because again why wouldn't Rex be stunned to see Clare just casually walk into the garage?

6. Imran:

Imran is hiding a secret but nobody knows what. Leah claims to know everything about her future husband but does she truly know? Imran would be a shocker. Why would he kill Rex? For messing with his future family with Leah? Is he a hired hit man? What if James is the guy that hires him to take out Rex? That this is how Imran is actually so rich.

7. Lucas:

Lucas would have also been startling to Rex. Could James have warped Lucas mind into thinking that Rex is to blame for breaking up his dynamic with his father? Could he simply still hold a grudge with his father over Dillon and it's actually escalated in prison? He's going to play fake happy family with Ste until he can get to him. Killing Rex is the start.

8. Abigail:

We don't know much about Abigail yet. Why she would kill Rex is an even bigger mystery. Her being a huge unknown automatically puts a target on her though.

So Cindy met her niece, Beth while in Switzerland with Alistair Longford. Cindy and Alistair were on their honeymoon only for Alistair to supposedly fall to his death in the Alps. With that Cindy became a rich widow and used the money to open her own fitness business. Cindy however didn't know Alistair long enough to have given birth while he was still alive. Meaning that she must have fallen pregnant either during or after the honeymoon.

So did Cindy meet and/or enlist the help of Beth upon going to Switzerland? I think that Cindy told Beth that she planned to divorce Alistair and take half his money. However Cindy fell pregnant with his child and never really got the chance to tell him because he found out about her scheming and confronted her? Perhaps things almost turned violent with Beth stepping in and accidentally pushing Alistair to his death. Cindy is heartbroken but learns in Alistairs will that he had left all this money to her. She can't bear carrying his child however as it is a reminder of what happened. She strikes a deal with Beth that if Beth stays silent she will give Beth the child to raise as her own when the time is right.

Beth could have been talking to Cindy about wanting a child during their time in Switzerland. All she has to do is fake a pregnancy to certain people. The child is born as a Longford but Cindy passes the child off to Beth with all his details. The child was named Maddox and as far as he's concerned he was legally adopted from parents that he never knew when in reality his mother has been in his family the entire time. As for why Cindy is back and there is no Hilton there is a theory that Hilton and Holly as well are perhaps estranged from their mother. Holly maybe taking Hilton away from Cindy for whatever reason. Cindy as a result is then trying to form a bond with her only other child.

However Cindy has been somewhat conflicted and Beth has been bribing her with money to stay away. Cindy may have had a huge falling out off screen with Holly and Hilton resulting in them leaving and ultimately Cindy deciding that there's not enough money in the world. She's going to establish a bond with her son. It's a dark way to look at things but Cindy isn't running from her past anymore. To her she no longer has her other two kids so she has nothing left to lose by revealing to Maddox who he truly is.

Does anyone else feel like there's more to the Jenson situation with Warren than meets the eye when it comes to the trailer? Yes we see the sack being placed over his head at one point but we never actually see Jenson when Warren and Prince make their hasty exit. Prince states that Warren killed his own brother and Prince's fingerprints are still on the gun but all we see are feet in front of them.

Yes the shoes look to be Jensons but is it actually Jenson under the hood? Could this be a fake out and if so who for and why? One idea is that this is Prince setting Warren up to kill his own brother as revenge then having Warren be arrested for the crime. Perhaps he second guessed the whole killing Warren thing and this opportunity came into his lap instead?

Another idea which is a little out there is that Jenson confesses to Warren and they fake his death in a bid to get Gemma to stop going after Jenson. This would allow them to focus on getting Gemma put away instead. Meanwhile Gemma has made it her mission to get rid of Mercedes and has a hit out on her while the men are sidetracked with this other situation. Prince got tagged along as a witness to make things seem believable.

I feel like Jenson just being straight up dead kinda ruins things. The storyline never really hit the ground running and Warren would have never known about Jensons past. There just seems like there are far too many open ends to the story if Jenson just dies. At that point you would be asking yourself what was even the point in his character in the first place? There definitely is a curve ball coming somewhere..or they'd be smart to do so.

One idea I had considered was that Warren thinks that he's killed his brother but somehow Jenson is switched out..and the person Gemma is on the phone to is actually Jenson and she has sent Jenson to kill Mercedes while Warren is preoccupied with Prince.

For me it was interesting to find out that MegaBlack in Megaranger was the leader of the group because given the footage that Power Rangers In Space used of the show you never would have even considered him in that role.

When you saw all the rangers side by side red was always front and center when you would have thought that the leader would be. Even in the Megazords Red was again at the front. If you grew up watching Power Rangers and never saw Megaranger you would be forgiven for being shocked if they told you that MegaBlack was the leader. Kenta is MegaRed and he is originally an outsider brought in and when the rangers combine their weapons you get an example of this in the Power Rangers side of things. The red ranger has his own weapon while everyone else has a group combination held by of course, the black ranger. When you see little things like that it makes sense that Black was the leader. However it's still shocking upon first finding this out.

Could In Space have worked had they decided upon a black ranger as the leader of the group? Andros in a way took over both mantles. He became not only the leader but the outsider that joined the team. From the weapons perspective then this also works. Had they gone the route where Andros just joined the team and kept the original leader as TJ would that have made TJ the black ranger and Carlos the blue ranger? Tweaks would have been made to the show. We would have perhaps even seen Adam and TJ interact rather than Carlos in that position. The memory loss episodes and all blue episode would have been Carlos' instead which messes up the dynamic a little. I feel like TJ being a former leader and coming up with the colour plan was a nice way to remind us of why he got his position in the first place.

I feel like simply at the time Saban looked at the footage they were given and saw a red ranger front and center and they didn't want to mess too much with the formula that had been established for so long within the franchise. Even though by that point we basically had two white ranger leaders..but red was always seen as the top ranger of the original five thanks to the role that Jason played in being the original red ranger.

When it comes to the secrets the majority of them weren't really a surprise. It was all that we already knew. The two interesting parts were Frankie and Prince's confessions.

Frankie is wise now to everything. She knew that Leah was watching and decided to play her at her own game. She claims that Imran stated to her that she wasn't actually in love with Leah. Why this is important is because just prior to this Imran was about to speak on his confessional but Leah stopped the video, claiming that she knew him inside and out. Frankie now has put that to the test. She knows that if Leah becomes paranoid that Leah was listening into their videos. It boils down to how much does she actually trust Imran? Will she watch his video out of fear that Frankie is telling the truth? Is Leah's life as rock solid as she makes it out to be?

Meanwhile Vicky had more of her own therapy session for herself. She came to terms and finally admitted to herself about why she was doing what she was doing. Perhaps that will be her first step in moving forward? Caleb of course also felt inferior due to how he was confined to a wheelchair. Both he and Vicky appear to be struggling and may lean on each other going forward. Then we have Prince who had his little love dilemma which Leah seemed to enjoy until things got really dark really fast. Prince has been planning to kill Warren Fox!

Now this would seem rather out of the blue but Prince is known for being very rash with his actions. Unlike his mother he isn't going to forget what happened to his brother. He blames Warren. Yes Warren is to blame to a degree but he didn't know about how dodgy his drugs were until it was far too late. With Warren now under the McQueen roof Prince can watch his every move and Warren and Mercy are too distracted by Jenson and Gemma. Will Warren let his guard down just long enough? Even the greatest villains never got the better of Warren. Is Prince in way too deep? Will Leah stay silent on the matter?

If anything this will probably lead us into the Fall where they do their big stunt stuff. Perhaps something big is going to happen there that will involve Leah, Prince, Vicky, Warren, Mercedes, Jenson and Gemma...perhaps even Donny? All the pieces seem to be coming together for an event like that that will clear out some cast members. If I'm being honest I feel like Prince may end up on the outs by the end of this and Donny will perhaps have to make a choice between Vicky and Gemma. Usually how these storylines go. Warren and Jenson will probably have a big showdown. Imran and Leah will have their relationship tested.

What do you all think? I feel like some of things weren't as big as they could have been but it's by design so that the big reveal of Prince wanting to kill Warren comes out of the blue and it's all to start piecing things together for October time.

You know one thing we never questioned as kids but now makes you wonder?..

Where are the cockpits for the individual Shogun Zords supposed to be? We all know that most Megazord cockpits in MMPR are the eyes but in MMPR Season 3 they gave the Shogunzords individual ranger cockpits as well. These were usually grey with the window having a coloured border to match the respective ranger. The Ninja zords also ended up getting these same cockpits.

When you zoomed out and took a look at the actual design of the individual Shogun Zords you had to wonder where are the rangers looking out from? It's not the chest piece in the middle. That's golden. That would have made more sense to use as the window in all honesty. Again they could have also used the eyes for the singular zords but chose not to. The grey/silver would suggest that the window is on the face somewhere. However you don't see a window or colored border making it seem like the rangers cockpit would be damn near microscopic in size.

What are your thoughts on the Season 3 cockpits? While I applaud them for originality in coming up with their own designs I feel like logically they don't seem to make sense in terms of placement. However this is power rangers so usually logic goes out the window. Would you have designed the s3 cockpits differently?

Just so I can fully understand the situation regarding Liquid Snake and Revolver Ocelot..

So in Metal Gear Solid 2 Ocelot has Liquid Snakes arm grafted on his body in place of his missing hand. Once Solid Snake gets close in the Tanker mission and calls out to Ocelot Liquid's spirit takes over the body of Ocelot and controls him. It's like the mere presence of Snake was enough to bring Liquid to the forefront. Liquid then also takes control of Ocelot at the end of Metal Gear Solid 2 and begs for his brother to follow him as he leaves with Rex. He's still in competition with Snake over who the better one truly is.

The Liquid Snake at this time is actually the spirit of Liquid Snake? Ocelot's father, The Sorrow was a spirit medium which Ocelot inherited said gift from. Liquid was able to use that gift to return to his body through his arm and control Ocelot as a result? This would be the actual last time that we would hear from Liquid Snake and why his voice is the actual voice of Liquid in MGS2. I'm guessing the decision was then made to remove the arm to sever the connection between Liquid and Ocelot and prevent Liquid from taking control again? This then bleeds over into MGS4 where Ocelot is continuing to act like Liquid but all is not what it seems.

I never got to fully play MGS4 but I saw most of the clips in regards to the story. Just so I can fully understand this... Ocelot has had Liquids arm removed and replaced with a cybernetic prosthetic? He is no longer under control from Liquid but wanted to trick the Patriots and their AI into thinking that he was still possessed. He actually had undergone a ton of drugs and self hypnosis to mentally become the doppelganger of Liquid. This would then explain why he has his own voice rather than Liquids in MGS4... Because he's actually himself rather than being possessed.

Was Ocelot faking things in Metal Gear Solid 4 received well or badly at the time of the game's release? Liquid was always a favourite character of mine and I feel like I would have been somewhat disappointed to find out that Ocelot had removed any form of possession in the end. For me I wanted Ocelot to feel like he had everything in control and had him openly mock the supposed superior clone for being so weak only for him to end up fully controlled by said clone. At the same time that was because I disliked Ocelot so much as a character and was hoping for a comeuppance. What were everyone's thoughts on the Liquids arm thing?

Looking back on it... The story of how Adler became Master Org was actually very dark for a Power Rangers show. Obviously there were tweaks to the script to make it more presentable for a younger audience but Adlers story is messed up when you sit down and truly break it all down.

This is a man who fell in love with his fellow researcher and didn't once notice the connection between her and her other partner, Richard. He just decides to randomly show up and propose to this woman that he thought felt exactly as he did but he never asked her how she felt for him even once. Then Elizabeth falls pregnant with Cole and Adlers bitter because he thinks that Richard has stolen his family. He didn't have one to begin with. He was creating scenarios in his mind where he was the lesser than person than Richard and making himself jealous. Then he finds the seeds of Master Org.

Not once does he consider what this could do to him physically or mentally. He just eats the seeds because he's already decided that he is going to kill Coles parents. Which is insane when you think about it. He labels it as "destroy" but he strangles Richard to death then attacks and murders the woman that he claimed to love. Cole just managed to be hidden away in time or he would have probably also murdered a child, which is a sick thought. However Cole takes pity on him when Adler loses his powers. He doesn't want to be corrupted by hate like Adler. Then when Adler dies himself Cole claims that he can finally now be at peace? At peace?! He killed your parents?! Cole was way too forgiving to a guy who gave him such a massive dark and twisted revelation.

One idea that Power Rangers had that was great but I wish that they had ironed out just a little more was just how powerful the Titanium Ranger powers were in Lightspeed Rescue.

We opened up an episode with Carter fading in and out of the morphed form while testing the new powers. The surge was far too much for him to maintain and it ended up hurting him. The visual effects and watching Carter struggle really sold this new power. It also was in a dimly lit room giving off almost horror-like vibes which fit the narrative that they were trying to tell. This was a power so unstable but great that if it fell into the wrong hands it could spell disaster. So when Ryan just retrieves the morpher and suddenly is morphed and in the suit I feel like they truly missed something special there in having him have his first morphed sequence.

Imagine Ryan trying to morph inside Queen Bansheeras lair only for the surge of power to be far too great. They could have run with him being infused with star power to give him that extra boost or the narrative being that the demons had corrupted him so much that his will and determination for revenge finally allowed him to fight back against the power surge and take control for himself. Ms Fairweather claimed that the morpher was too much for a normal human so Ryan needed some kind of story reason to be able to take on the power. That's why star power or stubbornness would have suited perfectly.

Diabolico tells a struggling Ryan to think about his father abandoning him and letting him fall. That anger consumes him and he fights to control and master the powers that have been given to him. He's driven past the point of any normal human. I do understand though that they wanted to provide the shock element of who he was by the end of the episode but they could have still done it in a way that doesn't fully reveal who he is until the end. There would be a tease that makes us as an audience realize which I feel would add to the ending as we would hope when they all realize who Ryan is or if they would destroy him before it was revealed.

Other than that the entrance and presentation for the character were great. Are there some plot holes? Absolutely. This is where hindsight is a great thing. Like how was Diabolico free before the tomb was open? Where was Ryan in the meantime? Diabolico in this case could have been a spirit trapped between both plains of existence. As a result it prevented him from fully using his star power until all the spirits were freed. He used what he had of his energy to trap Ryan and prevent him from leaving. He then manipulated him. Ryan was about to be sent out to free them from their tomb however travellers did it instead. Once everyone was freed Diabolico would then keep Ryan hidden away until the time was right.

Just a random thought I had recently just for fun..

So in Alien Rangers everyone has been reverted to younger ages. Billy makes a machine that uses the power coins that end up working on him turning him back into a young adult. At no point does anyone question how he aged up so quickly or where the seemingly missing child went?

Are we to treat Billy's aging up process to Aisha and Tanya's situation at the end of the season? While the rangers retain their memories any changes that they make the timeline will adapt accordingly? At the end of Alien Rangers Aisha is told that staying in Africa in the past will result in her family joining her as if she has lived there her entire life. This also switches around Tanya's life aging her up and everyone acting like she's been in Angel Grove the entire time.

In the case of Billy, once he aged up suddenly the timeline shifted despite us never actually seeing it. Once he returns to his normal age it's like a switch..suddenly he's always been that age to everyone around him despite the fact that all of them have remained the same age..or did they suddenly revert back along with him? So as far as everyone in Angel Grove is concerned Billy has always been a young adult and not the kid from earlier in the season?

I feel like Power Rangers always handles time travel oddly but this may be the best possible way to describe that situation. If anyone has any other theories let me know..?

If Power Rangers were to return would it be better for the franchise to adopt new naming conventions and getting rid of the "Power Rangers (Team Name)" titles? We saw the word "Force" used quite often in the title and it is often a go to fans have when coming up with the name for a series yet to be adapted. The addition of "Super" to a secondary season of a team felt lazy. Especially when it came to Super Megaforce which was extremely wordy. Like what the heck is a "super mega win"?

One idea to consider is keeping the franchise as Power Rangers but changing the names of the teams entirely. So more or less it would be like "Power Rangers Presents: (Team Name)". The show would go by the team name only.

Just throwing this question out there..

What was your reaction to the reveal of who the Gold Ranger was in Power Rangers Zeo? Was it one of disappointment? Were you OK with it?

We are putting aside the events that followed the reveal where they tried to give the powers to Billy and ultimately Jason returned to the show. This is about the initial reveal. All that build up of who it could possibly be with even Billy being a red herring only for it to be a random alien guy that splits into 3 versions of himself? I mean I honestly didn't know how to take it as a kid. I was kind of expecting more from it. Trey was not my first choice at all. What didn't help was that Brad Hawkins voiced Trey in his debut and it immediately made me think that it was Ryan from VR Troopers, which honestly back then would have been super hyped.

The Billy hints were happening far too much for me to eventually believe that it was Billy. I would have even considered Tommy's brother, David for the role although explaining how he got the powers in the first place would have proven quite difficult. Part of it felt like they knew the reveal may not get the best reaction so they had the surprise lined up as a back up. At times you even wonder why Jason wasn't considered as the first option? I'm guessing they wanted to do something different then swerve us later? Kudos to them for that.

I feel like an important deciding factor in whether or not you liked the gold ranger reveal is if you often remember Zeo Gold as Trey or as Jason first. If it's Jason then the reveal didn't have too much of an impact on you. Again for me personally I don't have anything against the Trey character I just think that if you are going to build suspense around a character reveal you really don't want the end result to be "random guy we have never seen before".

Thoughts..?

Is the presentation of rangers like the 6th rangers a lost art form? Now I'm not saying that I never enjoyed the debut of some of the extra and 6th rangers throughout the franchise..I just personally feel like the earlier seasons did a much better job at making these guys seem like such a massive deal. Before I switch into my prime example I will indeed include Tommy Oliver in this. Look at that man's debut where he leaps into the Megazord and then proceeds to beat the heck out of all the rangers. Regardless of the fact that he was evil at the time you immediately thought that this guy was a badass and were thinking "what if he was on our team?" Then fast forward to White Light and they had the man descend from the heavens in a blinding light, slowly take off his helmet and give us the big reveal.. "Guess who's back?!" Tommy was treated as a massive deal not once but twice.

The main example I want to use however comes from Zeo. Now watching Zeo as it aired when I was a kid the hype I got from the Gold Rangers debut was amazing. He appeared out of nowhere and the first thing is this quick ball of energy taking everything out and right away you're like.. "what the heck was that?!" You're stunned just like everyone else but before you even have a chance to fully wrap your head around it the Gold Ranger shows up on the cliff and it's like an overload of hype. At this point you are high energy as the Gold Ranger theme starts playing and this guy leaps down and starts clearing house with ease. You have no idea who he is or how he got there but the presentation alone makes him an automatic favourite off the bat. The opening presentation works because they decided to go with the colour of gold because there was just enough of on the suit. As a kid you associate gold with riches and power. He came down seemingly from the heavens like a god in energy form so he already seems super powerful. What sets it off the most is the theme song.

Power Rangers in the early seasons gave their 6th rangers theme songs and it always set them apart from the main team. When that music played you knew that this guy was a massive deal compared to the others. It's something I feel like they needed more of in the newer seasons. From the green to white to now gold. You heard that awesome theme music and you knew that it was about to go down. It was part of the package that just brought it altogether in a neat little bow. Power Rangers as well had a little less talking during fighting scenes. The modern seasons had far too many quips and lines. They didn't need to fill all the dead air. What made Gold Rangers quip work was because it wasn't lost amongst a bunch of others. He just said "It's time for a gold rush" and proceeded to run through and destroy his enemies. His actions did the talking for him.

Some seasons did a bang up job with little changes to the formula like Sam from SPD where they had that little note play when he was on screen as a kid and when the Omega Ranger arrived the same note was used in places to hint at who he was before the reveal. Titanium Ranger had already debuted but when he turned good we saw him whoop monsters on his own with some solid fight choreography. So there are some 6th/extra rangers that do get some solid presentation. I just feel like they went that extra little mile in the 90s and it was kind of lost somewhere along the way..not lost completely but those rangers used to feel like something really really special. Like they were on a pedestal higher than the other rangers if you get me?
