Joe was a good man, really too good of a man for a place like Hollyoaks, and his death just took the wind out of my sails when I watching through the series for the first time. Seeing someone as hard as Freddie just crumble was a sight to see, but I think it did bring out his better side.
It was also, in my opinion, the final nail in the coffin for any chance at Mercedes redeeming herself in any meaningful way. She never truly recovered from it, the ripple effect lasted well after Joe was gone with her indirectly causing Harry Thompson's death, as well as dragging Sylver through the mud when they were married (another character I felt was done dirty in the end, even if he really was just asking for it towards the end of his run).

In case your confused about the almost 15 years part keep in mind brendan has been in prison since march 2013 and the show had that 1 year time jump making it a little bit over 14 years in universe since he was first banged up,
So its sort of funny how even though brendan well and truly had warren beat the last time they saw each other but with the passage of time warren has very much gotten the last laugh since not only did he get out of prison after only a few years
But he also has gone on to cause almost twice as many deaths as he had done when brendan originally got him banged up and is still free while brendan is still banged up lol.
Like they are walking off and no one knows where they are going. Then they are never get seen or mentioned again. Those kind of exits do happen sometimes in soap opera world. Is cliffhanger the right word to describe that kind of exit in soap opera world.

Last month it kicked off completely with dee dee having vaunrabale and with maddox and her official split up she isn't going to get him back any time soon she is set to feel isolated from her friend's her family and her loved ones with abigail set to target her in the upcoming month's here's is a theory's list on what could happen
Abigail make"s her move so she obviously's wants dee dee away from everyone
Despite maddox he could fall in love with someone else and not understand that dee dee is really vulnerable right now
She could up her game with a few weeks to go abigail could start to really get what's she wants

Abigail now has her under her spell with dee dee set to go off the rails and not listening to her family abigail truly has her under her spell
