As much has I love this era of eastenders I feel like short stints need to stop yes I understand that Ben doesn't bring back long-term characters
But what's annoyed me is that

: julie bates
I really liked julie come on its not right getting rid ot characters that have a story also I would of liked phil and julie to happen but not Ben u had to get rid of her
Sam mitchell is a legend again why get rid of her

Yes I'm looking forward to a redemption arc for joel but come on bring him back permanently not temporary
Eastenders need to have more permanently returns otherwise it going down hill and I feel like a temporary stints need to stop otherwise what's the point in this era
And from June to August the world cup and Wimbledon that's going to piss off a lot of people missing their Eastenders fix
