Unloading on Deluxe Pack and Shining Revelry today? Other options?

Are there cards in the physical TGC that could realistically make either Rare Candy or Pokeball obsolete soon?

If not, I‘d likely go wild on Deluxe and Shining Revelry today lol.

Deluxe Pack: currently 335 Pack Points
Needed for 2nd rare candy: max. 2165 (433 Packs / 5196 hourglasses)

EDIT #1: Pulled the 2nd Rare Candy after 1788 hourglasses (149 packs) in a non-god pack. 10042 left.

Shining Revelry: currently 330 Pack Points
Needed for 1st Pokeball: max. 2170 (434 Packs / 5208 hourglasses)

EDIT #1: 10042 left, meaning I can buy at least 1, but 1166 hourglasses short of buying 2 outright.

EDIT #2: I pulled the 1st one in my first ever God Pack after 4992 hourglasses / 416 Packs. Sitting at 2410 Pack Points, so only 18 packs more to buy the 2nd one.

EDIT #3: Opened 18 more packs and bought the 2nd Pokeball. Mission completed!

Total hourglasses spent: 6996 (1788+5208)
——————

With the duplicates from Deluxe, I could easily get/trade the remaining 1*‘s I‘m missing from all previous sets (~45).
EDIT: Pulled 27 duplicate 1* until the 2nd Rare Candy.
And 51 duplicate 1* from Shining Revelry.

Should I open them now?

Shiny zucchini in a box of normal zucchini

I’ve been walking past this zucchini box about once a week for the past few years. Never seen a yellow one till today.

50 laps of Goliath feat. bowie knife99

Continuing my tradition of doing 50 laps of Goliath in every Forza game. With the FH6 version being by far the longest one yet, this race turned out to be a 4270.6km (2654.1mi / 40.3mio burgers) patience-challenge lol.

Managed to finish it in 15h 39m 36s with an average laptime of 18:47,520. Fastest time was a 18:31,087.

The AI was set to unbeatable to max. that portion of the reward and as a result, many of the AI cars were overpowered to a point where they couldn‘t handle it. Things got pretty wild pretty quickly. Posted a full video of the race, including all bowie knife99 and other NPC highlights, on YouTube. Easily one of my best videos so far :)

I lapped the cars from 12th to 9th, some up to seven times during the race lol. 2nd place was the only NPC not to DNF, being only 26 seconds behind me after over 15 hours.

I gained roughly 15.9mio credits from the race, 1.18mio from wheelspins, bringing the total to over 17mio.

The roughly 2.76mio XP (along with the XP from banking skill-chains) resulted in 106 level ups.

I checked if 0-100kph acceleration times are realistic

Turns out - yes. After testing 63 cars (mostly supercars) and getting in over 1000 recorded launches (first pic shows the editing-timeline), almost all cars are within 5-10% of the manufacturers claimed times. Some even on the dot. Only a few odd-balls went significantly below or over, but mostly due to weird in-game gear ratios that were simply not set up for 0-100 times.

Also: Only 7 cars can hit 100kph (62mph) in under 2s while being totally stock. With the FE GTR being the quickest overall at 1.05s. Covered the Top 25 ranking of the quickest times in a short YouTube video.

Interestingly, launch control did not help with 0-100 times for most cars due to the sudden and unpredictable LC cut-off. You just end up smashing into the rev-limiter. Only one car (McLaren P1) was quicker with LC enabled. 6 cars had equal times with and without LC.

However, if you can fiddle with upgrades and tuning, especially the gear ratios of 800+hp cars, LC does shave off between 0.1 to 0.4s.

PS.: The times are also more accurate than in FH5, which had notoriously quick acceleration times.

Stock Peel P50 vs the 85.4km Goliath

Since the Peel P50 now has an engine-swap option that scratches 800hp, I wanted to know how big the time-difference around Goliath would be compared to a stock, 4hp Peel. Turns out… not that big considering the hp-difference lol.

I switched between the two POVs in a quick YouTube video if you wanna see a deeper dive into this silly project (serious air-time included…).

PS.: Driving the red, 800hp Peel was the most fun I’ve had playing Forza in a very very long time, highly recommend you give it a shot. Feel free to try and beat both my laptimes.

25 hours of pain and V12 noise

The previous record for most consecutive laps in Rivals mode was 1500 (or 1515, but without video proof). So I decided to beat it by over 1000 laps.

Managed to improve my laptime around that track quite a bit by the end (2nd pic), my posture and eye-sight not so much.

Around lap 1850, the game started to skip frames, and it got more and more frequent the longer I kept going. Eventually the game tapped out and crashed around 26h and 6min into this experiment.

Full video/deep-dive on this experiment is on YouTube.

The goal for Forza Horizon 6: 10k laps, obviously :)

Doing 2500+ laps because why not
