Howdy! 👋

Reposting this because the group we had lined up dropped.

My girlfriend and I are planning on moving out and are looking for someone -ideally a couple or 2 person group- to take over our 2 bed/1 bath in JP. Possibility of moving in earlier than Nov 1 either pro-rated (whole week) or free (a few days). I can share the Zillow listing in Messenger.

We love our home and it’s such a cute, cozy space but we’re moving because we need to be closer to family. We’re open to selling or leaving some of the furniture, as we bought them specifically for this space.

About the place:

* Top floor attic unit of a triple decker in JP, with sloped ceilings.

* 10 min walk away from the Stony Brook stop on the orange line and short ride to South West Corridor bike path.

* Surface parking lot in the back with off-street parking. 1 deeded spot in the lease but you can have a guest over with no issues.

* Very lively neighborhood, with lots of dominican and puerto rican restaurants. 15 minute walk away from Stop n Shop. Lots of corner stores and a local grocery store (City Feed) nearby.

* Back deck with outdoor patio furniture that we’re open to selling/leaving.

* Water included. Electricity is the only utility (Eversource). Baseboard electric heating.

* No laundry or dishwasher on site, but there are laundromats within walking distance. We use our car. We also bought a portable dishwasher and would be open to selling/leaving that as well.

Reach out if you’d like to tour the space.

[Free Event] North Shore Pro-Housing Social in Salem, MA

Howdy folks. Just posted this on r/SalemMA and figured I'd share here as well.

I'm a volunteer with a statewide housing advocacy group called Abundant Housing MA and we're hosting a free North Shore housing social tonight, from 6:30 - 8 PM, at Couch Dog Brewing Co. (Google Maps link). Come down to a local brewery and enjoy a beverage on us (non-alcoholic available as well), while meeting lovely people fighting to make the Commonwealth affordable for those who currently do and will want to call it home in the future.

Registration not required, but preferred: https://www.abundanthousingma.org/2026-north-shore-yimby-summer-social/

Feel free to comment or DM me if you have any questions and I'll do my best to respond.

Your Experience with the 100 Bus

My partner and I are looking at an apartment just off the Fellsway between Wellington and Malden Center. It’s a 25-30 min walk to Wellington but a much shorter walk to the 100 bus stop. If you use the 100 bus regularly, how reliable is it? Do you have any thoughts or complaints?

Kayda Croft

I said this to my girlfriend when I first saw Kayda but I couldn’t put my finger on it. She reminds me of PS2 Lara Croft 😭
