Just me or dual wielding feels terrible in Halo 2/3?

I was replaying the Halo games and dual wielding felt super ass. The only weapons that it felt it was good with were the plasma rifles in Halo 2, and in Halo 3 I didn't really see the benefit of dual wielding vs just playing normally.

I could imagine it being good if I had a plasma pistol on one hand and another on my other but the enemies (brutes) didn't have a shield so I didn't really have any reason to use a plasma pistol at all.

Are people actually concerned with the fan noise?

I came from a 4080 razer blade 16, to a 4090 g14, a 5080 hp omen max, and m3 max 14" macbook.

I see posts about some people complaining about having fan noise when doing something but whenever I render something on blender with the m3 max, it's literally not bad at all.

It is noticeably quieter than any other laptop I've ever owned when comparing under load. Do a lot of people just have sensitive ears?

Why spend so much on a DMA for cheats?

I'm not shaming anyone who cheats cause that'll do nothing. I heard about DMA recently from TikTok and it costs like, $200+, a 2nd PC, etc.

Why spend so much money on DMA cheats?

Just me or Noors is an awful shield counter?

I think I have never died to Noor this entire season as a shield op

If he sees you with a shield and hides for a second, you can bet he's gonna peak out with his gadget and so you just pre-aim and he can't fight back.

If they actually land it on you, you can literally back up and remove it in less than a second. Unless you're alone, Noor is up close or you're out in the open for some reason, it rarely does anything.

Oryx is literally a better shield counter than Noor

Why would the Forerunners contain the Flood and leave them on a place with living creatures? Are they stupid?

I was thinking, instead of containing samples of the Flood on Halo Rings which is brim with wildlife for the Flood to feast on,

Why didn't the Forerunners just contain them on a desolate planet or something instead and then have an access point/teleporter like they did with the Earth and the Ark? Even if the Flood were to escape containment, they wouldn't have any food or the biomass to build a Gravemind like on Delta Halo and they would be too feral to actually operate any technology.

Are they stupid?

Could the Flood even infect the Endless or would they just be used for biomass similar to Hunters?

So afaik, Flood needs a nervous system to infect a living host. The Halo rings also destroy anything with a central nervous system, but the Endless are immune to the effects of Halo.

So, if the Flood got ahold of an Xalanyn, what would happen? Would they just be used for raw biomass or would the Flood pretty much be nearly unstoppable?

Maybe Cortana said they're far worse than the Flood because maybe they are immune to the flood, and so have the potential of becoming the "next" precursors as they POTENTIALLY might be unhindered?

Are the Flood still testing humanity or do they not care about the Mantle anymore?

I'm curious because in Halo 3, Forerunners and Humans were heavily implied to be the same/related as the Gravemind says some line about a father's sins passes to their children and 343 Guilty Spark says we are forerunner.

But Halo 4 and then everything after just shows Forerunners and Humans were different species that fought against each other at some point, so that father line makes less sense. And then you got Precursors who wanted Humantiy to take the mantle and then became corrupted dust that turned into the Flood.

Are the Flood still testing humanity or have they given up about relinquishing the mantle to Humans, instead opting to just unify everything?

If you have a black-screen LCD that isn't working after installing GCC LCD screen update, try this.

I have a 5090 aorus master ice. Accidentally installed the LCD update off GCC cause I thought it had something to do with my red vga mobo light. Clearly not, and it turned my LCD black. To top it off, it wouldn't appear under my GPU inside GCC. I thought it was bricked and would have to RMA.

Tried draining my PSU, reinstalling nvidia drivers, etc. Nothing worked.

Then I just searched up "Aorus master ice 5090" on my browser, went to support and then firmware for my specific GPU, and reinstalled the LCD Firmware update 1.2 (Tried 1.5 but said mismatch or something). My LCD worked again then.

It's such a simple fix and I haven't seen a SINGLE thread and comment mention this at all.

Just me or is the powerscaling in the novels just seem too absurd at times?

I don't mind plasma pistols being extremely lethal in the novel or Spartans lifting tanks if they do. I'm more put-off by precursors (outside of the flood), the domain guardian, the whatnot and how unnecessary it feels; coming as a "game first" person.

Like you got precursors how can materialize shit outta nowhere and their constructs like Abaddon who can vaporize forerunners like nothing. It just feels exactly like, "yo this is my OC that can one shot anything and is the strongest."

It's the primary thing that I dislike about the novels. The novels kind of sound like fanfictions whenever I try to get into it. The only things that felt more grounded was Halo 5's "Hunt The Truth" podcasts and stuff like that.
