Where do you buy your oranges? Can’t find a good one

I was at Ralph’s yesterday and they had them on sale for $1 a pound… I tried eating a few but they all taste terrible. It’s been like this all year no matter which grocery store I go to. The previous year had such good oranges 😭

Did someone lose their roosters?

FYI roosters are illegal to own in Long Beach. If these are yours, please come collect them (and keep them inside so they don’t wake everyone in the neighborhood up) before animal control. I’m so tired of being woken up at 4 am 😭 — DM me for the location.

Edit: I learned the backstory of these guys. They were apparently abandoned at this location a few days ago. One of my neighbors has been feeding them. The bigger one is in fact a rooster, although these pictures were taken at 4 am and don’t clearly show it.

Another Stubhub World Cup Grift

My brother surprised my dad and me with category 1 tickets for USA v Turkey that he bought on Stubhub back in March. They finally fulfilled them today — and changed them to nosebleed tickets. We’re not taking receipt of them and will just watch from home. We live in LA so it’s not a huge deal from a logistical perspective. I’m actually not too bothered about missing the match, my brother made an amazing gesture but I knew the World Cup was just a giant grift between FIFA and Trump and it never really sat well with me to contribute to their corruption. Anyways, I’m excited to file a complaint to the CA attorney general but sorry for all the people who’ve traveled and experienced the same thing.
