If I were to tighten the tremolo bridge on my fender squier, so that the floating bridge would rest on the body of the guitar, would that cause any damage long-term?

I need for it to act like a fixed bridge for a show, so I could tune to Drop-D and E-Standard without affecting other strings

What could be an easy to add 22nd fret to a 21 fret guitar (Squier strat)

I’ve tried supergluing (or epoxy) a paperclip, which worked but it eventually fell off.
