New to Volvo with a service Q

Long story short, went to a local dealer and was priced $1100/mo + $5k down for a loaded XC90 T8 lease. Told them that was bonkers, and they said that's the best they can do. Left.

Got a quote for the exact same spec'd car out of state for $840/mo + zero down. Gave the sheet to my local guy saying if they could match it, I'd be happy to shop local. He jerked me around for a few days and did nothing.

I've already signed and paid for the good deal, but he doesn't know this. Today he messaged asking again if I'd 'promise' to buy from them if they'd try to match that deal. Difference was - this time he made a veiled threat that if I don't buy from them, I wouldn't get service loaners and would not be prioritized (whatever that means) for service.

I'm moving soon anyway so whatever - but is that a typical Volvo thing? Coming from Lexus, I've been treated exactly the same at every service department without any question or consideration of where I got my car. Curious to know if this is really a thing or if he's just being a slimeball.

Rehomes

FS - US only at this time. I am moving and have actually moved into buying more auths again so unloading some things I haven't looked at in a while! I was a mod on the original RepLadies so have rehomed many times. First to pay receives item. PPFF only. Anything purchased this week will be sent out the same or next day. These are all priced well below the going rates (and way below what I paid) because I just want them moved along. I have dustbags for all minus the strap (jk found the one for the strap).

Please do your own QC - I give all but the P9 passing scores but I'm also not as picky as some.

  • Black Capucines BB - Huahui - used a few times; includes long strap. $150 incl shipping (my LV CA actually did complement this one, I'm just at capacity on small black bags currently) sold
  • Black Nano Celine Luggage - black frame - used a few times, also has long strap. $100 incl shipping sold
  • Dior houndstooth caro - Angel factory - unused, long chain/leather strap. $150 incl shipping
  • P9 Speedy 40 - Star factory - caveat - the leather on this bag is nice, but the print quality isn't great. I paid an arm and a leg for this. Comes with inside pouch and pillow - $150 incl shipping
  • Dior strap - unk factory - unused; plastic on HW. $35 incl shipping
  • Celine cabas - black frame - used, splashed coffee inside so a few droplet stains/no smells, etc. $85 incl shipping sold
