Does D.Mon's re-mech lift her off the ground high enough to avoid Rein's shatter?

I've noticed this twice in games recently where I shatter a re-meching D.Mon only for them to be unaffected (they successfully re-mech and aren't stunned). Wondering if this is a coincidence, or if they're invulnerable/fortified while re-meching, or if the animation that slightly lifts D.Mon off the ground while re-meching actually lifts her just high enough to avoid the shatter. TIA for any input!

Difficulty navigating online reviews... Hiking shoe suggestions?

Hi all,

I stumbled across this sub while trying to research shoes, and figured I'd post here as I've found so many reviews are contradictory to each other, and trying to settle on a pair has been difficult.

Here's some info for context: I'm moving to a rather hot region of the world soon (easily 90-100+ degrees F daily), and will be doing a lot of hiking in rocky steep terrain for a research program. The environment is very rocky, dusty, and may have considerable dry foliage. Of note, the program doesn't allow GTX (or anything containing considerable PFAS).

I'm not sure if I should be getting mid or low boots (I feel like more material = hotter?), but I've mainly been looking at lows mainly just because I've never worn mids/highs & they feel tiring to walk in (but maybe that's just something to get used to?).

I can either purchase my own shoes which I'm totally open to doing, or the program provides either a pair of La Sportiva Ultra Raptor 3s or Salomon X Ultra 5 Lows. I've been testing out the Raptors which I'm quite liking, aside from the green & red coloring (but I suppose I can look past that!). I'm curious about the narrow insole of the Salomons & if the custom inserts I have would fit, but haven't yet tested.

However, whenever I look these up I see a lot of negative reviews, especially around durability (holes forming in the Raptors, toes falling apart, laces snapping on the Salomons, etc.).

Any input on these two options, or literally any other suggestions (on socks or other gear, too!), would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much for your time!

Hey all! I grabbed a Gothic precon set a few weeks ago on a whim, and my friends and I have really enjoyed playing so far!

A few questions from this noob:

- Will more Gothic booster boxes be distributed throughout the year..? What about Dragonlord? They're both so expensive but we'd love to open some packs & play some dragons..

- Similarly, what's Sorcery's reprint policy?

- On that note, how viable are Gothic packs for a Draft-style game; how might that work / is it a thing in Sorcery?

- Is there any good site for community-made decklists / metas?

- Totally no judgement being passed here, and I'm curious about the overt Christian imagery & themes across the last couple of sets; is this a stated intent of Sorcery? For a lack of better words, is it a "contemporary Christian card game"? Again, just curious..!

- The closest LGS that hosts Sorcery games is literally ~100 miles away... the few LGSs in town have all said a combination of it's too niche, too expensive, & too scarce of product.... Coming in here & looking at YT, it *seems* like Sorcery is doing really well, but is it? Is it at risk of going under any time soon, from what's publicly known? If my friends & I want to start genuinely collecting and whatnot (we've enjoyed sharing recent collected cards & figurines from other games lol), well we're just curious about the long-term viability, if that makes sense :,)

- Perhaps our single biggest question: We've been having a good amount of confusion over a lot of the wording on many cards... a lot of it seems quite ambiguous or not stated what certain words mean; many things read like a Keyword but aren't explained... how can we figure these out?? We're good-natured together of course but debating about the meaning of things (and finding various explanations online) just seems to add unnecessary strife to our games. Really takes us out of the flow and immersion, too, y'know?

Thank you in advance for your time..!!
