Hi everyone,

I want to sync two separate Govee COB Pro Strips (placed on the left and right sides of my screen) to the screen content using the Govee Sync Box 2 via DreamView.

Before wiring everything up, I have two specific questions regarding the setup:

HDMI Signal Chain (Passthrough):

Does the signal chain Source (Panasonic 4K Player) \rightarrow Denon AVR \rightarrow Govee Sync Box 2 \rightarrow Hisense Laser TV / Projector work seamlessly without issues for 4K, HDR, Dolby Vision, and HD audio formats? Or is it better to place the Sync Box before the AVR?

DreamView Integration:

Can the Sync Box 2 easily be linked with two separate COB light strips in the Govee app so that they act precisely as left and right channels without noticeable latency?

Are there any pitfalls regarding this HDMI order or DreamView device assignment? Thanks for your help!

​I'm trying to get 10-bit color depth working on my PC setup, but I'm stuck and hoping someone with a similar Laser TV / Projector setup has a fix.

​Specs:

​Display: Hisense PL1 Laser TV (4K @ 60Hz max)

​GPU: ASUS Radeon RX 9070 XT

​Cable: Optical HDMI 2.1 cable (48 Gbps)

​AVR: Denon AVR-1800H DAB

​OS: Windows 11

​The Issue:

When outputting 4K @ 60Hz with RGB 4:4:4 in AMD Adrenalin, color depth is locked to 8bpc. The 10bpc option in the driver is greyed out/unavailable.

​Because of this, games default to standard HDR10, and I can’t get dynamic HDR (HDR10+ Gaming) working properly unless I drop color subsampling.

​My standalone Panasonic UB824 Blu-ray player outputs 10-bit / 12-bit HDR10+ to the same Hisense PL1 without any issues.

​Questions:

​Is the Hisense PL1 lacking DSC support on HDMI, causing uncompressed 4K 60Hz RGB 10bpc to hit a bandwidth/handshake limit?

​Is it better to switch to YCbCr 4:2:2 to unlock 10bpc, or stick with RGB 4:4:4 8bpc + Windows Dithering for gaming?

​Has anyone gotten native 10bpc working at 4K@60Hz RGB on this Laser TV from an AMD GPU?
