I have some good context of Ahriman and Warhammer 40k in general thanks to youtube videos, but I havent read any book or codex yet, but I got very interested in Ahriman character and the Thousand sons, so Im really tempted to start with Ahriman books as first ones. Is it a bad idea?
At first I didnt liked it too much st first, but over time I've been appreaciating it much more. The conclusion of the Gold Dragon phylosophy, reedeming someone as corrupted as Areelu, facing a Demon Lord and a godess for your beliefs (even more epic if you break Nocticula's prophane gift) and the sort of bitersweet ending of facing the consequences of not sacrificing Areelu, with the World wound still open but still preventing the demons to reach Golarion.
Even if the Gold Dragon Path had its flaws, I ended up enjoying it a lot, and I feel this ending was a pretty good conclusion for it.
I want to make a second playthrough of WOTR, and as the first one was a spell caster Lich gish, I wanna make a run 100% focusing on meelee with high damage crits and lots of attacks
I mean the one could be consider the most pure heart one most of the time, without codes that could be twisted into something darker. And on the other hand the path with the worst type of phylosophy that could lead to cause a lot of suffering to many people around the territory.
Im starting act 3, Level 9 with 5 on Exploiter Wizard and 4 on Eldritch Knight, and Im doing a Gish Lich build.
I realized that Lich spells ignore the spell resistances. But I wonder if I should still take spell penetration for other spells like dispel. Or if I should use those feats for something else.
I've been planning a build to Sorcerer to Lich to Gold Dragon, but I can't decide between a dragon bloodline, undead or arcane.
