How rough a read is Oleander..?

I’ve wanted to read Oleander by Scarlett Drake for a while, but I have anxiety and get anxious every time I start it.

I read a review that said it’s very emotional and an uncomfortable read, so I’m just wondering how bad it actually is. I’ve read a lot of books that have difficult or uncomfortable moments, but it is often resolved quickly so the anxiety doesn’t last long. Is it that sort of the situation? Or is this truly just one long angsty, heart wrenching experience that’ll leave me with a massive emotional hangover? 😅

Just to be clear, I love a book with angst and drama, I just need to be in the right headspace if it’s going to be a lot vs just a bit…

Part time work?

Hey all,

I have my PhD in biomed with a concentration in neuro and regenerative medicine. I started a CI consulting position last November, but had my first child in Feb. When I went back to work in May, I realized it was just too much and officially left my position last week. I’m hoping to find some part time work but I’m not exactly sure where to look or how to find jobs like that. Any suggestions?

Thank you!! 🙌
