Haven't seen many bag size checks at the gate lately
Have I just been lucky or have they toned it down a little?
LOTF Application post
Lords of the fallen, a game that came out around the same time as Lies of P. One game hit the ground running the other had a rough start to say the least.
What did the devs do? They not only fixed the issues, they expanded the game beyond belief for no extra cost.
Weapons, armour, veteren mode, game modifiers AND seamless co op.. yes you can play this game co op.
What other souls game or souls like has had the love and effort put into it after release quite like this game?
What the devs have done should be praised and appreciated. They could have left this game in the dust but no, they not only revived it but they turned it into something else entirely. Devs like that are few and far between these days.
I can't wait for LOTF2.
I don't care if you can modify it. What made returnal great is we ALL had the same challenge. I loved coming on here and talking strategy, reading other peoples experiences and tips, talking about THAT feeling when you clear an area for the first time.
Thats all gone now, I don't want to modify things to make them harder for myself I want that to be the organic experience. I don't want to have a choice, when you give me a choice the easy mode stares at me like the green goblin mask when things get tough.. ''I'll still get the trophies, I'll complete the game, I'll save time'' it says.
The beauty of returnal was getting to the boss, sometimes with good health perks ect. Sometimes you hardly got there in one piece but had to lock in regardless otherwise you're getting sent back an hour. The closer you got to the kill the more your heart would beat, you'd either fail and feel dismay or you'd succeed and the dopamine would hit you like you've just killed jad and got a fire cape as a 13 year old kid (elite ball knowledge)
Anyway thats my take. I'll still play the game but man, they robbed me of that feeling.
