People with above average IQs: do you find movies boring because they are too predictable?

I’ve had this problem since I was a child - any movie which I watch is extremely predictable to me. It’s really difficult to think about films which I couldn’t predict half way through - maybe masterpieces like ”Oldboy” or ”Parasite”.
It’s fair to note: I don’t view myself as an extremely smart person with superior pattern recognition. I’ve never tested my own iq but I am pretty sure that I am not a genius.
So, people with certified high iq’s, are movies predictable to you and consequently boring because of that?

Any thoughts on The Boys Season 5?

I honestly wouldn’t be so optimistic as some people are - the whole show fell down so bad, it’s crazy to even imagine it. The plot feels rushed, overly inconsistent and repetitive. Other than that, there is only 1 hour left so there is genuinely no way for the series to redeem it’s final season unless “Ozymandias’’ level of storytelling is pulled off in the final episode.

What are your thoughts so far on Season 5?
