I feel like he’s barely mentioned in the discussion of Mulholland Dr.
Hes so mysterious and eerie i wish we had more scenes with him. I wonder where they would have went with him had Mulholand dr turned into a continuous story like originally planned.

I love everything about the return. Im sure theres even deleted scenes we don’t know about! And id want them included in! But does anyone else wish you could just consume all of the return like a regular movie? Like in all one sitting?
That’s the only thing i hate about the return is that I can’t sit n watch it all in one go.
The green glove one punch 🧤 was a nice touch… but imagine cooper pulls this out from his pants and blasts mr c and bob away !

A lot of film n music history that i love about it and to find out David Lynch filmed here as well is extra cool! I kinda wish he filmed more prominently here for Inland Empire!

Anyone else wish we had a scene on this farm with the actual characters? Would have been an epic Chase scene. Especially with that grey fall atmosphere.
What is up with players in prop hunt needing to be in the same party!? Theyll be a party of 4 or 6 and ill join and wait sometimes almost an hour to play one round because these people neeeeed to be part of a party.
Now this isnt me saying Lynch shouldn’t have been doing interviews. I enjoy all of them. But it is interesting for a artist that didn’t explain his art and wanted to speak for itself he sure did do a LOT of interviews. Lol funny when you think about that.
But was he being paid for them? Its no secret his films weren’t that bankable and he directed a lot of commercials for the paycheck. And he only made about 10 films throughout his career. So im just wondering if he was getting paid for all the interviews.
Jen revealed last year she’s working on releasing his Netflix script. Im wondering how long we’ll have to wait.
And i wonder if they’ll release the Antelope Script as well which was also said was one of the best scripts ever by lynch. Ufos and aliens in a lynch movie? God we were robbed of so many beautiful visions.
Now that its been out for a while how do we feel about Shadow Ticket? Does anyone think it would make a great movie? Lots of fog and shadows. I could see someone adapting it ( not PTA ) and making it black and white. Or maybe do what amazon did with spiderman noir and give us the option for color or black and white.

Leonard forcing sut to dispose his father’s corpse reminded me a lot of tony n chrissy disposing Ralphs body. The way they’re all nonchalant. Even the next season when Chrissy n tony b move around some skeletons.

Im curious for those that have read and watched the movie.
I just finished the extended cut and I enjoyed my time with it but I couldn’t help but feel like most of the actors felt miscast? Some of their performances felt off.
Is that due to miscasting? The writing? The directing? I also feel like the actors werent left to really hone in their performances like they did a few takes and moved on opposed to fleshing out what the scene could be?
What do you think? Was it a combination of both or what?
I haven’t read all of it yet but to me it reads much better than watching. But there are still some questionable dialogue decisions by cormac that seem off for a master of dialogues.
It is interesting how this is probably the only story we’re gonna get by him in modern times.
Id have to double check but im wondering if this was written before breaking bad Or during when a few seasons were already out. They share similar vibes and I wonder if cormac was a fan of bcs and bb.
Right now Criterion is having a s a l e on vudu.
Im so torn because i already bought half of ingmar bergmans movies on dvd…then bluray… then I bought the big boxset… and it would be nice to have in my collection in vudu… but the ones that are on sale for 5$ I already bought when they were at 10$ sale… all the ones i don’t have are on sale for 10$… and im so conflicted if i wanna buy em when in the future they could put the sale at 5$ lol
