I built a Voyager 1 & 2 tracker

NASA has one on their website that was feeling lackluster so I tried to make my own version pulling their api. Still a work in progress but I think it might actually turn into something cool. Just watching the voyagers leave our solar system is mind blowing. And the perspective of how long it really takes to reach anything else and how empty space is, just hard to fathom.

How can I represent Voyager traveling through our galaxy over billions of years?

I want to build a model that better portrays a simulation of what the voyager might be doing over billions of years. And how on a galaxy scale, it will be close to us again only a thousand or so light years away.

This isn’t science research, more of an art project to teach more people about voyager and get them interested in the science behind it.

I can send the link to my application if you want to see the full demo. Would love to get opinions from real scientists.

Lassen swimming holes or other swimming camps?

Looking to camp at lassen national park this month and want a place to do a lot of swimming and possibly some rock jumping.

How is lassen for this? Any other areas I should consider camping instead?

I’m based out of southern Oregon but pretty much willing to drive anywhere. I’ve done a lot of Oregon camping and swimming but not so much north cal. I’ve hiked all over the area so I am somewhat familiar.

Right now I’m debating on redwoods area and jump in smith river, or lassen and find spots in that area.

Pain for past 6 months

Just last year I had 7 x 9mm removed. Hell on earth. A few months after that I’m on the floor curled up in pain then within 24 hours I passed a large stone on my own.

After passing that stone I started to feel dull pain on my right side that’s got slightly worse overtime. Nothing unbearable but it really does hurt. Especially on days I’m cleaning the house or moving around a lot…

I’m positive it’s another stone. But this is how my big 7 x 9mm started out so I’m worried I’ll need more surgery. I guess my only solution is have a CT scan done and then we know if there’s even a chance at passing.

Im still making payments on my surgery from last year. I live in America so the pain of the medical cost is almost equal to the stone, that is until it really kicks in then I’d pay a million to make it stop.

I have so many games I need to finish that I’ve started but never finished. Here are some of the ones I want to play the most.

Cyberpunk

Oblivion remaster

Fallout New Vegas

Finish Fallout 3 DLC

Starfield

Borderlands 3

Subnatica Below Zero

Alan Wake 2

Hogwarts Legacy

I’ve probably got 10 hours in each of them and a lot more in some.

I’m stuck in analysis paralysis. I think I’m going to load up a mission in starfield and go from there for now.
