Shopmax SC0050

Good morning all. On Friday I decided to break and buy a Dewalt 735x Planer. So far it’s one of the machines I LOVE running in the shop and is very satisfying. The not so satisfying part is the clean up of debris the planer spits out. I’m trying to find a dust collection system that won’t break the bank as the planer just cost me a pretty penny. I saw this on 731 Woodworking YouTube and wanted to know if anyone had tried this thing? I’m also in a two car garage that cars still come in and out of, so it can’t be huge either.

Good deal on first table saw?

Found this table saw on FB for $100, curious if it’s a decent starter as this would be my first table saw. Thanks in advance!

Good beginner combo?

Hello all, I’m just getting into the hobby and I’ve been on the lookout for some used stuff around my area. I don’t have a band saw or belt sander, that’s how new I am. Would this combo be something to pursue or go bigger when I can? As of now I’m just looking to do small curves and minor resawing. I can’t say however I wouldn’t do more when I learn more. Asking $395, which is steep and I’d try to talk him down. Just asking opinions, thanks!

Purina Pro Plan vs Victor Professional

Hey all, new guy here! My wife and I just picked up our first Great Dane, Boris! The breeder we got him from has been feeding Victor Professional, and I’ve personally fed previous dogs I’ve owned Victor before. When I went to the vet, they recommended we switch him to Purina Pro Puppy. I’m not an animal nutritionist, so I was hoping to see if anybody here knew the big differences (other than one being for pups and one being all-stage) and which may be better for my pup. Pictures just for the attention.
