They're similar prices from an online store in my country. Portability is nice to have, not mandatory but if I get the Mac Mini I'll probably upgrade my laptop and purchase a Neo 2 when it comes out. I already own a monitor, keyboard and mouse.

My usercases are iOS/Xcode builds for projects, multitasking with both Android & iOS simulators, music production with Logic and Reaper (sometimes heavy sessions), video editing with Final Cut Pro, maybe Resolve and content creation.
