What does being in an MSP typically look like?

I've been working at my MSP for 2 years doing project work now, and while my boss says there's plenty work to be done, I don't get assigned much work, and the work I am given is very repetitive or simple. But I hear about MSP's being a grinder but a huge learning dump. Yet I've been exposed to so little that I feel I'm being put behind guard rails learning & exposure wise. How do people get these learning grinders? Because i'd love to learn in one.

TL;DR: I feel I'm not learning and not given much exposure, how does working in a typical MSP work for you guys? Maybe it's something I'm not doing?

Specs for a EVE-NG/GNS3 lab

I'm taking the Aruba campus pro cert (HPE7-A01) and need a good lab to practice for it. My company doesn't have extra hardware at all, so I'll need to do all labbing from this Server/PC. I don't have a lot of money to blow on a home server of massive spec, so even if I have to break down each lab to bare minimum just to learn the concepts. (example, to learn basic Clearpass config, having a lab of simply 1 or 2 switches, w/ 802.1x or just spinning up enough switches to practice simple policy based routing or a VSX-MCLAG topology).

TL;DR: What's the bare minimum spec you recommend For a home server to practice for my Aruba campus pro cert, and later down the line some Cisco certs using CML?

New App update, store mode search is impressively quick.

Updated the Home Depot app today from Google Play store. Select "Store Mode" and search is impressively quick for just general looking up item location. Appears right in the search query options. However, selecting the item to see details is mildly improved.

Can I still get a networking role with some gaps in my experience and knowledge? Or should I find a new L2/L3 role to fill those gaps?

I feel I'm ready for the next part of my career, but I have some gaps in my knowledge that kind of hold me back.

Background: I worked for an MSP for about 5 years and spent 3 years in k-12 education. In that on-prem time, the environment I was brought into was already heavily automated regarding user creation, deletion, and majority of AD groups were already deeply established. Only thing I had to do was move things from 1 OU to another.

I'm very comfortable with MDM's like intune and Jamf, asset mgmt platforms, etc. but have little to no experience with deep GPO tasks and policy building. I'm well versed in anything you'd find in a classroom tech wise, and basic PC troubleshooting on Windows 10 and 11.

I'm looking to specialize in networking. My experience is limited to basic layer 2 configurations. VLANS, stacking access switches, LAGs and basic connectivity (ntp, snmp, DNS, etc) w/ static routes being as far as my L3 experience is concerned.

Hello Aruba community! My employer is an Aruba partner and they've tasked me with getting the Aruba campus pro cert, I have the campus associate and the pro study guide, I mainly need some help with Labs requirements.

If I want a self hosted lab with GNS3 or EVE-NG, which specs would I need bare minimum? I just need something to simulate the lab guide and possibly practice central, since I haven't worked on many Central projects. This way I can ask my boss for some hardware if you think it's necessary, (Switches, AP's). I tried looking through the past posts but nothing seemed clear on specs. Thank you for any help you can give me!
