Items vs. Treasure and Monsters vs. Monster Deck

I know in the game that the Monsters and the Monster Deck are separate and apply to specific rules, like attacking a Monster vs. attacking the Monster Deck. However, is there a distinction between Items and Treasure (Item vs. Treasure Deck?). For example, the Soul of Pride, which gains a Counter each time a player gains a Treasure. Now, my friend believes there is no distinction and that Shop Items count as Treasure. I believe there is and Treasure is Items gained from the Treasure Deck. Which is it?

I installed Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii on my AYN Thor, yet I, smooth brained as I am, do not know how to set up the game in such a way that Dolphin and Daijisho treat it as separate from New Super Mario Bros. Wii in the lists of game to pick from. The way to set it up that way seems to be different on devices that use Android. Would anyone here know what to do by chance?

So I had this theory on the Giants. They’re definitely different from the others in the series, what with their hole faces, the fact they become trees upon death that produce seeds, and their supposed connection to the Throne of Want through the Giant’s Kinship(?). Given their nature, they may be outside the cycle of fate; of light and dark, much like the Everlasting Dragons and Archtrees of the Age of Ancients. A special power once taken from the Giants allowed for soul transference, which led to the creation of artificial dragon-like beings in hopes of breaking the Undead Curse. It made me wonder something. Much like how Drakes, Wyverns, Hydras, Serpents, Man-Serpents, and Crossbreeds are descendants of the Everlasting Dragons, as a means of ensuring the survival of dragons in a sense, what if the Giants of Dark Souls II are something my similar. I propose that the Giants are descendants of the Archtrees. The Archtrees, like the Everlasting Dragons, were of stone (Demon’s Great Hammer: Demon weapon built from the stone archtrees), and were beyond the cycle of fate; of light and dark; of life and death. The Giants in Dark Souls II are rather stone-like or wood-like in appearance/texture and possess aspects pertaining to trees. They also have a sort of nature that’s beyond the cycles which humans seek out of them. Perhaps much like the dragons, the archtrees too evolved to continue existing in a world beyond the Age of Ancients

In my honest opinion, normally, Blue Smelty D would get like a C from me. Personally, Iron Passage is the WORST AREA in the entire game, due to the copious amounts of Ashen Warriors piled on with Possessed Armors for copious high damage projectiles and the Astrologists for slowdown who notice you from halfway across the area, ending off with a fog wall guarded by an Iron Warrior and Astrologists. It’s a nightmare to fight all the enemies and it’s a nightmare attempting to run through it all instead, and that’s amplified in NG+ runs, so to end it off with another Smelter Demon as opposed to something more original feels really insulting. On the other hand, if you judge the fight solely on the fight itself, there’s a lot to appreciate. I honestly like how it does Magic damage rather than Fire damage, and it’s complemented by the blue design contrasting the original Smelty D’s orange appearance (I also like the different horns). And it’s cool to see how some attacks are faster/slower than the original as a means to trip you up; these are changes in reused bosses that I actually appreciate because it makes it feel fresh while amping up the difficulty through playing with expectations. In a vacuum, I’d enjoy this fight more than the original, but given how they decided to implement the fight into the game, I can’t enjoy it as much as I’d want to. But what do you guys think?

I feel I have everything set up for the 3DS and Wii U after following Joey’s Retro Handhelds guide. What I wish to do next is actually add my own Mii to the games that require one. If I remember correctly, it has something to do with acquiring dumps of the 3DS and Wii U menus respectively. If anyone who did this has instructions for doing so, or a video/online tutorial(s) for that from someone else that you can share, I’d be extremely grateful
