Just started this game and can't for the life of me figure this out. I don't have much tech, just the first liquid engines and solid boosters.

The mission is to put a probe in Brigos orbit, but the thing (including needed fairing) weighs 250kg. The contract pays 450k. Nothing I built for that money gets me anywhere near Brigo, sometimes not even in drools orbit lol

Any help? Some general building guidelines maybe for how big the fuel tanks should be for example. The liquid engines (and all settings increasing thrust) are as big as they can get and Im just barely at 1.0 TWR especially in second stage. Can't get above 5km/s delta v

So I feel like the CW is a tad too strong, getting everything they need for free.

Since the game lacks difficulty settings, I went ahead and tuned them a bit for myself so it feels more like a normal player. After all, I just want someone to fill the board, not some boss-like adversary that needs my full focus to take down.

Here's what I changed:

[ ] No "Can't play card" bonus. Still get the ambition favor.

[ ] Spending Favor/Secret for trading as normal. Except when completely unable to pay, then may do one trade at that location for free

[ ] No "failed travel" bonus. Also no extra move moving elsewhere. You did some scouting, good for you, now live with the location you're at.

[ ] No tactics track. At all. Since you're still using battle plans, I find this one just unnecessary. (You could maybe use expanded Powers to compensate.)

So what do you think? Does it still work like that? Anything y'all think is too strong a nerf? Let me know, cause otherwise I actually really like the CW experience :)

Also yes, I know this is entirely a skill issue, I only recently got the game. Still, I just wanna have a fun time playing without racking my head too much lmao

Can't find a new copy anywhere. I thought it was once again published by Spielworxx, but they don't have it anymore. Do any other publisher step in? Or am I just shit out of luck and it doesn't get produced anymore?
