It has come to my attention that multiple streamers have ranked our beloved Reed Richards as a BOTTOM tier character.
And while my opinion of our favorite main will always be FANTASTIC… these rankings have made me feel anything but.
How do you feel when the smallest complaints from other mains get addressed instantly?
How do you feel when heroes who are already overtuned get even more complimentary buffs?
How do you feel when heroes who receive the tiniest of nerfs start a riot because their SSS+ character is now only SS+?!?
For some this may seem like an overstep; like this is something that isn’t necessary given our standing as a character.
But let me remind you…
We have been patient. We have been grateful.
We have given the devs more time than most to give us our due and yet our LACK of buffs, skins and adjustments have been nothing short of unbelievable.
We have repeated ourselves time and time again, via subreddits and so forth, with the ONLY difference between being seen and being silenced is our momentum and coordination.
Even our new load-outs (some of which have been highly requested) have come out in states that are not NEARLY on par with others.
So, no more…
Every subreddit,
Every Instagram page,
Every streamer’s twitch chat,
Every social media with a comment section will be our battleground.
Take this time in between to prepare…
- Create agenda posts
- Create text spam
- Create memes that push our message forward
- And seek others to join our FANTASTIC cause
I do this not to encourage hate, but to encourage UNITY.
We MUST stand up for ourselves, we MUST be heard.
Or we will be forever doomed to F-tier…

It has been a while since I, the Grand Reed-gent, have come to discuss the rulings of this council with you via post. Let alone indulge myself in the petty dramas that have plagued this sub since my conception.
With that said, I have come to say this and only this, so listen well and listen good…
Dont think I haven’t seen or listened to the petty squabbles this subreddit has preached for the last month or so.
I’ve seen the feuds about Hawkeye’s inclusion, despite him being the most qualified to join our ranks.
I’ve seen the successes and cheers that came with the announcement of Black Widows rework, a character so neglected we thought it would never be given the light of day.
In a perfect world, every character is viable; it isn’t a dive meta or flying meta, but it all comes down to the skill of the player and their understanding of the kit they’re playing with.
In a perfect world, there is no TOBA; only an extreme niche of optimized choices for competitive players that are trying to get an extra leg up in other competitive environments.
In a perfect world… a more FANTASTIC world, we play the mains we want to play without a single worry of us thinking we’re throwing or playing this game wrong.
It is a place for ALL of us to voice our criticisms.
A place that allows us to unify our collective struggles and turn them into agenda memes and discussions that are eventually heard by the devs overall.
So be mindful, be thoughtful, and most importantly, don’t be so harsh to judge those that may be ending up below for the first time.

I, the Grand Reed-gent, have a lot to say about the new changes coming for our beloved main this upcoming season.
But with this new team-up rework on the horizon, I have a strong suspicion that our main, Reed Richards, might reach new heights this season.
Let us discuss what we know…
While these loadouts/team-ups have not been truly tested in battle, one thing is fairly certain. The Rocket team-up (whether passive or upgraded) allows us to go manual big-mode.
This was a change HIGHLY requested by this council for quite some time and I believe this update was the devs actually listening for this request. Now… does this mean Mr. F is finally out of bottom tier? Uncertain.
But the truth still remains, that there is still so much to take in with this update and I truly hope that this team-up provides us with the necessary kit that allows us to be TRULY FANTASTIC on the battlefield.
Not to mention, when upgraded, it allows our ultimate to be somewhat optimal with its new ability. Again, this is still untested. But we shall see if these new changes allow us to make a difference on the battlefield.
For me at least, this is was the least impressive of the bunch. HOWEVER, it allows Reed to have a heavier damage output if needed, allowing him to be on par with specific damage dealers in our meta without Thing being on the team. We can now be more aggressive/damage heavy WITHOUT having rely on other players to be our the anchor, meaning we can provide our team with the necessary damage numbers if it comes down to it.
That said, we shall see if it’s truly worth the effort when it’s unleashed on the battlefield next season.
THIS… intrigues me the most. The ability to turn 2 of our teammates invisible for a set period of team lends itself to some seriously funny shenanigans. But only in practice will we truly know if this strat payoffs.
Just because we’ve gotten all of these amenities doesn’t mean our agenda has officially retired.
For us, being FANTASTIC is a way of life; deeply ingrained in our culture and our play style. The fact that we might have a chance to reach higher echelons this season truly shows the devs are not only willing to listen… but also go out of their way to RESPECT even the smallest of characters.
May Season 9 be the time that we truly become what we were meant to be.

As you know, being FANTASTIC for all my fellow Reeds is my TOP PRIORITY!
Fellow Council Members,
Earlier today, I made a post regarding the new Summer Skin and was very concerned about Reed’s treatment in comparison to other summer skins coming out.
This truly is an amazing skin, and even though it is not a Legendary, the fact we have customization options, a new MVP animation, and a new stretchy emote (edit: ALSO A SURFING REED EMOJI). I can happily say as a Mr. Fantastic main, this truly is the full package.
I expect EVERY Reed to be repping this skin.
Wear it. Rock it. Own it.
This is our opportunity to show the devs that this character is worth the investment.
I will keep the previous post up for now, but shall archive it by end of day.
We all make mistakes in the heat of passion, and your Grand Reed-gent is no exception.
Enjoy this victory, for tomorrow will truly be a FANTASTIC day.

As you may have already seen, our beloved Reed Richards has finally gotten his highly requested summer skin…
However, the situation has turned out to be quite dire.
Not only is the skin free, while amazing will make it harder us to show the devs our interest in more skins. But it is being marked as a Purple Tier (complete with what looks to be an MVP animation and an emote).
While I’ve been vocal about keeping spirits high, specifically about coordinating with fellow Reeds to do something similar to the Hulk mains with their new skin…
This was all under the pretense that the barrier of entry to get this skin would be far greater.
The fact we have recieved this skin at all will keep me forever grateful. It shows that tge devs do indeed listen, and this victory should not go unsung nor unnoticed.
But how long must we wait for the next…
another year?
How much will it really take for these devs to finally support our beloved character that’s been in this game SINCE SEASON 1!?!

The time will come when ALL will be OURS!
The time will come when ALL will be FANTASTIC!
But for now, the best we can do is prepare…
Ready yourselves, keep posting, keep pushing our agenda.
This is an opportunity we cannot miss.

With it being free, there are no excuses.
While for some, today may not be the victory we’ve been hoping for, but it is ALWAYS a FANTASTIC day when Reed gets a new skin.
We must always keep fighting for a more FANTASTIC tomorrow.
The day may come for us to launch a coordinated counter-attack.

Over the last few days I’ve seen a great amount of turmoil plague this sub. Mainly about setting up rules that dictate who deserves to be recognized by our council as the lowest of the be-lowest.
But why must we squabble over such simple rulings?
Must we really argue about what characters have the right to belong here?
Must we really create such arbitrary hoops and clearances to be “recognized” as one of the few who is rejected?
They feel it everyday…
When the devs announce new skins, new buffs, and new adjustments to the game only to give your main the boot… every… single… time….
Every victory should be celebrated.
From our Adam Warlock’s to our Hulk’s.
And to those of us who still remain here…
neglected, FORGOTTEN.
We must unify.
Already, my fellow Mr. Fantastic mains are mobilizing across various subreddits; creating propaganda, pushing agendas, spending hours creating new art and memes that will slowly but surely show these devs what WE want for of our beloved Reed Richards.
But it takes an army of shitposters to do so…
And we will inch no closer to victory if we keep squabbling over who is officially recognized by this council.
