How many collectors have this book?
The Large Print Hobbit.
I think it is my new favorite edition, I can read it without my glasses! Ha ha!
My only complaint, the maps and illustrations could have been slightly larger.

I have been looking for the definitive version of Henry for a while now. Every iteration seems to be slightly different, some are pretty bad, but I found an official release that I believe to be the absolute worst rendition I have found yet!
Unsatisfied with how Henry is rendered, I thought that somewhere there would be an highly detailed original, but alas, I have searched heaven and hell and have come up empty handed.
So I decided to tackle the task of re-creating his "original" art myself.
I collected every version of Henry I could find and made a conglomeration of all the best ideas.
It is far from complete, but I would like YOUR input on the design so far.
I worked from the newspaper clipping where he was first used, and created a very faithful tracing. On top of that I have added white line work and outlines that better capture the contours of his body.
The original (for your reference only) is on the left , and my overly complex and detailed version on the right. Please keep in mind that once I have your answers, I will attempt to incorporate those elements into the design in the same style as Henry is currently drawn.
Here are some questions:
• Is his face better or not? Why?
• Are the changes to his chest area better or not? Why?
• Which outlines are good enough to keep?
• Should all the outlines be deleted?
• What is your favorite part?
• What is the worst thing about my version?
• Do you see areas where I guessed wrong? Like his hands and feet?
Thanks everyone for all your help in advance!

My collection is becoming overwhelming, and crowding out my other books.
I am too emotionally attached to each of these books, and cannot make up my mind which ones should be culled, even worse, the completist in me wants to keep collecting!
If these were your books, and you wanted to reduce it by about half, which books would you definitely keep? FYI: every one of these is a first printing or thus, and all US editions with only a few exceptions. In most instances the books are arranged by publication date, but not all.
Thank you everyone in advance for all your suggestions and input.
