After years of collecting across the sub-10k bracket - Rolex, Omega, Cartier, Tudor, independents, a few oddballs - I’ve finally booked my first appointment at AP House.
I’ll be honest. I’ve done the research. I know the Genta story. I know the overnight sketch. I know the first batch took three years to sell. I know the movement specs, the secondary market data.
But data doesn’t tell you why people fall in love with a brand. That’s a different conversation.
So I’m asking genuinely - not what makes AP technically impressive, but what makes it yours. What was the moment you knew? Was it the first time you tried one on, or did it take longer? Do you wear it everywhere or save it for moments?
And the harder question, for those of you who’ve owned other serious brands, what does AP give you that the others didn’t?
Appointment is in a couple of weeks. Consider this my homework.
