Hello! I've been using my bike as my primary form of transportation for a while now, and decided that I should probably finally get a helmet. I simply refuse to leave something I'm going to be using long term unmodified, and I'd really love to be able to add spikes to my helmet. I know that this could potentially compromise the safety of the helmet, so I'm trying to figure out a way to get do it safely.

I was thinking I'd make spikes out of a soda can so that they're not solid pieces of metal, and attaching them with something like hot glue or some other weaker adhesive so that they'd snap off easily in case of an accident.

Is this something that can be done safely, or is it a fools errand? I'll settle for just painting the helmet or putting stickers on it if I have to, but I'd really love to be able to fulfill my spiky visions.

I'm currently looking into getting my first ebike, after a lot of research I'm most likely gonna be getting a a used Tern Vektron. Ideally I'd like to be able to try out the bike before getting it shipped to me, however that doesn't seem to be an option where I'm located. Has anyone here owned a tern vektron, specifically a vektron d8 or d7i model? Model specific experience would be amazing, but if anyone has owned any vektron I'd love to hear about your experience with it!
