I’m just going to start numbering all my orders now, I never expected I’d still be buying stuff from Japan lol
Anyway, I’ve been sitting on these items for about a month or so, I forgot to post them oof

First are these Shinobu and kitsune pins! I sat on these for a while actually before eventually caving and buying them. The art is so gorgeous, I couldn’t resist putting them on my Ita bag. Second, are just a bundle of pins I bid on for cheap. It came with a few duplicates but I didn’t mind.

Third, my last two star can badges finally arrived- so now I have the whole set! I’m definitely going to put this up on my wall one day, but for now I’ll keep them stored. Next we have some character pin set, and all of them arrived displaced except for Ataru and Lum lol

Now for the keychains! I got this 35th anniversary one for my wallet, one of the many Samantha Vega collaboration keychains, this logo keychain that I believe was sold at a pop up event, and a big stylish acrylic keychain. And lastly, this Lum key cover which was released alongside Ranma, Kyoko, and Inuyasha versions!

To finish off, I got a remake sticker that came with the Samantha Vega keychain, and two CD’s. I watched the Laughing Target OVA, and just like the Fire Tripper OVA I absolutely loved the soundtrack. It’s pretty scarce, so after waiting far too long I finally got it! The other is just a compilation with all movie and OVA vocal songs.

I went to Japan Village for my birthday yesterday! It’s basically a two floor building with Japanese food, a courtyard, and Japanese shops located in Brooklyn, NYC. There was a Bookoff there, and I found so much cool figures, plushies, CD’s, and to my surprise- Urusei Yatsura merch! The other Bookoff location I went to in Manhattan had only like one Lum figure, and a bit of the manga volumes. Other than that there was nothing. In this store however, I found a lot! Well, more than I’ll ever see in person anyway.

First I got the Jukebox 2 CD! I got this one because it was 19 bucks, and it includes a few different tracks that aren’t on other CD’s. There was a few more complication CD’s, along with the 6th movie soundtrack, but it was 60 bucks so I didn’t go for it. There was also the Beautiful Dreamer and Music Capsule CD behind glass…but they were over $100 Lolol. The Beautiful Dreamer soundtrack is not that good for it to be that much, but the Music Capsule was literally the first CD soundtrack album released so that’s fair. I get all my UY CD’s from a proxy, so most of the CD’s I saw were actually very pricy and honestly not worth it.

The second thing I grabbed was the Lum relax time figure! I saw three Lum figures at the store, one was a glitter and glamours figure (Along with Ran, Oyuki, and a Lum alternate), the one I got, and the other relax time figure where Lum is laying back on a star. I’m pretty picky with Remake Lum figures, and her face in the third figure didn’t look right to me. The glitter and glamours figure also just looked kinda meh to me so I grabbed the best looking one and crossed my fingers she’d look good when I got home. And you know what? She’s gorgeous! But damn, she was 40 bucks!

The last thing I was able to find was this Oyuki glass cup for $9! I’m pretty sure you can’t get glasses or silverware through proxy’s, and I looked this up to find it’s like over $70 on eBay so I’m glad I found it. Also, I thought this was a shot glass originally so imagine my surprise when I opened it and saw a big ass cup lol

I finally got enough Ranma goods to show off today! First off are the pins- I got two really old ones, red hair Ranma and a KAC pin (No idea who the girl in the left corner is lol). Next is Ryoga and Akane village Vanguard can badges! I somehow missed these two when I was hunting for the all of the Vanguard badges, but I believe these are the last ones. Akane was 20 bucks lol but so worth it!Lastly is a Ranma and Akane wedding manga pin! This was released back in 2017, and there were more made for different manga panels, but I can never find the others :(

Next are these Felissimo stickers! The pack came with three, P-Chan, Shampoo, and Ranma! I really love the color blue that was chosen for his pajama’s, so I stuck that one right on my water bottle, and put the other two on my PS3.

Lastly, I’ve got two keychains! The first is remake Ranma, and it’s actually pretty damn big in person, which in hindsight I probably should have expected since it has ‘big’ in the name. The next is a girl Ranma keyring, which was released along with Lum, Kyoko, and Inuyasha versions!

That’s all I’ve got unfortunately. I tend to be picky about Ranma stuff I get, especially when I’m trying to get more manga or old anime merch. Since there’s mostly just remake merch flooding the market it’s hard to find the good stuff. I’ll be back with a lot more keychains next month for sure though!

AmiAmi finally delivered the re-release of the 1/4 B-style Lum figure from FREEing that I ordered! The box was huge as hell, but the figure is probably a little less than my arm length lol. It was worth the wait and money honestly, remake Lum figures don’t look very good to me, but she’s gorgeous! Her nails are even painted, which you don’t actually see in the product images so it was a nice surprise!

All my Sonic pins from Japan came, so I started trying to put my Sonic ita bag together…but the space is a bit small for all of this it seems.

I’m not too worried though, my first Ita bag was mostly entirely made up of can badges, so I believe I know how to minimize space here!

I had been wanting these earrings ever since I discovered them on EBay a while back. These were released in 2018 for the Honey Salon EGOIST collab. The only listing I saw was $100 as these were kinda limited, so I decided to just keep searching for it every once in a while on a proxy and hope a listing pops up eventually.

Soon enough though, I managed to find a pair on Neokyo, but they were the clip on version instead. I had planned to just stick with those, but they hurt my ears after wearing them for just a few minutes which kinda bummed me out. I really wanted to be able to wear these comfortably for long periods of time, so I went to find a cheaper listing on EBay and got that one instead, so now I have two pairs!

The regular version has Rumiko’s name in the back, while the clip-on has a little charm that says ‘Honey Salon’. The regular version unfortunately has a mark which bothers the hell out of me but is otherwise barely noticeable. Other than that, both versions are basically the same and in good condition!

I fell down the Disney doll rabbit hole a while ago and became obsessed with finding the original 2010 Rapunzel doll with tinsel hair. Unfortunately, a lot of them were expensive in both good condition and bad condition, so I was hitting a wall for a while until I came across a Mercari listing! I didn't even notice it was the doll I wanted since it was just listed as "Classic Disney store Rapunzel doll", until I zoomed in on the pics and noticed the tinsel in the hair! Not only that, but the doll was wearing the 2013 dress instead of...well the one it would come with. Regardless, I snatched it up quickly and bought a replacement dress since I hate tacky glitter on dresses and wanted the most accurate dress I could get. As soon as it arrived I undid the braid, and to my absolute dismay, it had knots, was missing hair, and needed a dire makeover. I didn't take any pictures since I was so excited that day to fix her, but I do have photos from the listing, so you can somewhat compare the hair quality if you squint lol

I cleaned her hair with shampoo and conditioner while combing out all the knots. Sadly, a lot of hair came out, but it had to be done. After I was sure I had combed it thoroughly, I boiled-washed it and let it dry. The replacement dress came soon after, so I did the final step which was flat-ironing! I'm pretty proud of how I fixed up the hair, especially considering that it was my first time fixing damaged and knotted doll hair to this extent.

I’ve been obsessed with getting Rapunzel tinsel hair dolls as of late, so when I stumbled upon this doll for a good price I couldn’t help myself! The hair though…I didn’t expect the knots! It could be worse I guess, but now I gotta struggle combing it all out 😫

I ended up getting all the Sonic Adventure pose pins (that I’m aware of) while going on a mass buying of Sonic pins for a Sonic Ita bag I’m making. I got the gold one back when it was released, but managed to get the last two recently for really good prices. Looking at them all lined up together has me feeling all giddy like I’m a kid again lol. I’ve always wanted the whole 98 pin set back when I was a kid, but it was always too expensive. I’m glad I was able to eventually purchase it and add it to my collection! And say what you want about Limited Run Games but they can make a decent pin at least!
