Booked Grand Vitara Zeta Plus Strong Hybrid, delivery expected on or after Vijaya Dashmi/Dusshera.

Hello fellow redditors!

Moving on from my loyal, trustworthy and maintained WagonR after 12.5 years. Was contemplating Victoris and Grand Vitara Strong hybrids but driving comfort and vehicle feedback was not desirable and satisfying in Victoris despite taking test drive twice.

The driving feedback and response of Grand Vitara was more responsive and in alignment with my expectations (obviously not a punchiness of Turbo engines) but still it may be my experience or some issue with the test vehicle and colour choice was not there too but deal breaker was vehicle response, hence went ahead with GV.

Booked Grand Vitara Zeta Plus Strong Hybrid on the road for 17.45 Lakhs in Greater Noida West.

Reviewed and researched about other vehicles in the segment and then finalized this because priority was good FE with comfortable size on the road to maneuver in traffic as I have a job that involves a lot of city travel. The family is Me and wife and 2 kids aged 9 plus and 5 plus.

Also needed the car to be reliable for highways as often travel to Lucknow from Noida on an average 5-6 times a year as parents and in-laws are there and all are above or near 60.

Also will take it to hills in the UK or HP for occasional vacation.

Feel this is VFM as per my requirements and priorities as it gives good FE in bumper to bumper and moderate to flowing city traffic. Good average on highways with cruise mode set to 80/90. Features such as front ventilated seats and tinted UV glasses will help a lot in summers being the longest season in NCR.

Safety wise not tested but given it shares it's body with Brezza having 4 safety rating and 6 airbags, ESP, Hill hold assist are the features that give peace of mind.

Request the experienced owners to share Pros and Cons and also if it's a good decision or otherwise.

PS: Not have patience nor time of CNG filling (WagonR was also Petrol VXI) and CNG lines/crowd on expressway during festive seasons gives me jitters and scares. EV is not fitting in my use case scenario hence hybrid was the situational or forced choice.
