Hey guys! I’m an artist in Austin. I do a lot of stippled neotrad and blackwork fantasy. And I’ve been making the transition from pen machines to a rotary with an armature bar.

So far I’ve been lining with my needle on bar and then packing black with my cartridges and pen machine.

So the next step will be buying some mags on bar. I’ve been using flat 7s and soft edge 15s but kinda wanna try some other sizes. What sizes are y’all using? Either for shading or packing black.

Im gathering the supplies to transition to needle on bar as opposed to cartridges. I’ve ordered some of the black claw cork and steel tubes, but also want to try getting just the steel tubes and order a reusable metal grip.

What reusable metal grips do you use?
