Happy To See The Switch 2 Getting A Lot MORE Positive Coverage Recently

Funny how it was 2025's most hated gaming device by the vocal minority online.

Now it's loved and appreciated after a bunch of screw ups like:

- Sony killing physical media for its consoles (starting 2028)

- Steam Decks are now $800

- Steam Machine costing $1500 and performing worse than a base PS5

- GTA VI will release without a physical version and it will cost $100 for the complete experience

- Microsoft laysoff a bunch workers, yet they somehow want exclusives back.

Dragon's Dogma 2 Dark Arisen Is Only $50

Good pricing from Capcom

This includes the base game + expansion

I was going to be pick it up a couple of years ago for my handheld PC, but I heard that the game is unplayable there so I did not pick it up.

This is a day 1 purchase for me now

Edit: For the people in the comments saying "It's going to run rough because it runs rough on decent PC builds" you guys need to stay quiet. You people said the same thing about Star Wars Outlaws, FF7 Rebirth, Indiana Jones & The Great Circle, etc. Only to be proven wrong time and time again.

Wait for release and then talk about performance

Back In 2009, Iwata Said That Video Games Will Be Digital In 20 Years

“In other words, it will require many years and months for the majority of video game purchase to become digital,” said Iwata. “In short, in 20 years or so I might say it will have probably changed. But in 5 years or so, I do not totally agree with opinions that no one will purchase titles at retailers by then." - Satoru Iwata (2009)

With PlayStation getting rid of physical media, I think he was in the ballpark with his estimation.

Another price increase that goes into effect August 1st.

It USED to cost $300 at launch (2020).

Nintendo Just Needs Three Unannounced Exclusives To Be Set For The Rest Of The Year, Keep This In Mind

Nintendo has consistently released an exclusive almost every month since the Switch 2 came out. As of right now, they seem to have an exclusive for the remaining months of the year

June - Star Fox

July - Splatoon Raiders

August - Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave (Prediction)

September - ?

October - The Duskbloods (Prediction)

November - ?

December - ?

Ocarina of Time Remake will probably fit in for November, that's one unannounced title. That leaves us with two unannounced titles to fill the remainder of the year.
