Not joined any group chats as a fresher 😬

Every time I go on social media there’s about a thousand links to join fresher groups chats and uni group chats all of that.
I’ve heard mixed reviews about these a lot of people say it fizzles out, I had a friend who liked it but then again she has the best social skills on earth so it might just be her.
I personally do not know anyone that is going to my uni, I’m not shy and I don’t mind talking to people ect. But just how important are these group chats??

My problem is that it’s just awkward. I find these group chats forced and boring and I cannot be asked to join I really can’t. But to anyone who is second or third year was joining these actually helpful or did u make friends through societies, ur flatmates ect. I don’t know if it’s worth just joining a few weeks before or just going there and making friends organically.

Olens contact lenses thoughts

I have very dark brown eyes and I wanted to wear everyday contacts for uni that would give a noticeable pop.
I was thinking of vivi ring brown; I really want it to be noticeable yet not too much, does anyone have any experience with this. I’ve seen vivi ring coco get mentioned a lot but in my opinion I don’t feel like it would make a difference ? Pls prove me wrong if these lenses actually do make a noticeable difference
.

My other option I also want to get is glowy black, I know the light coloured moves around a bit but I think I’m fine with it and it enlarges my eyes which is also something I like. Please let me know ur experience wearing either of these contacts!! And let me know if there is anything else that is better.

IDK What to expect on results day tomorrow!!

For context I retook maths after basically giving up during sixth form was gonna retake psychology as well but my grade wasn’t bad so decided not too.

I am still soo traumatised from that paper 1 💔💔 genuinely nothing could have prepared me for what I went through like NOTHING to make it worse it was the one day I was on my period I hadn’t had it months before. This is coming from someone who religiously did madasmaths for months and months leading upto the exam, redoing past papers under timed conditions like 5 times each doing all the mock set. Paper 2 was piss easy but paper 3 was a bit tricky as well tbh.

Does anyone else genuinely not know how they’re gonna do? Like I could get anything from an A* to a D but I genuinely don’t know. I’m so numb to the feeling and I think it’s because it’s too overwhelming for my brain to process. Because this was my retake this is genuinely my last chance. Just praying the grade boundaries will atleast reflect how horrendous that math paper one was. It’s crazy how our schools and teachers will have access to our grades TODAYY.

genuinelywent days forgetting to eat and drink water, I sat in my chair doing maths question 24/7 to the point where my entire lower body was numb asf, I LITERALLY GOT A UTI from this as well. I think I’m gonna cry regardless of what I get tommorow but I really hope it reflects the effort I put into this, i genuinely put my blood sweat and tears into a-level math and I had no option cause I’m not that “smart”

Anyways hope everyone gets what they worked for 🙏🙏

I'm retaking alevel maths this year, I have finished all of the past papers and I'm still looking to revise. I had been doing MADAS maths questions until 4* and when I told my tutor about it he suggested that I would do old spec instead and not do MADAS maths at all. I am aiming for an A* so is it worth doing old spec? what do people that get A*s use? there is also international papers as well but again I don't have that much time left and I have no clue what to do now...
