Hey everyone! We’re headed back to ACL week 1 after SEVERAL years away and my husband’s birthday is Oct. 6th. I’d love to plan some kind of birthday surprise for him during ACL since we won’t have much time before or after the fest to do much. Does anyone have any fun suggestions?We splurged on VIP tix so a surprise upgrade won’t be necessary.

Hey all! This is my second year here and I’m wondering what the coming El Niño will mean for us here in the valley? Everything I see talks about flooding and storms in SoCal, but a google search for Palm Springs effects said a hotter, drier winter so now I’m not sure which is accurate. Anyone been through one here before? TYIA!
Are there typically this many local artists? It feels like they’ve really tried to stretch the budget this year as far as talent goes. I usually LOVE checking out smaller acts I’m unfamiliar with during the day, but after listening to them on Apple Music this week, I regret buying tickets (week 1). Example is DJ Cassandra. Looks like she’s an Austin DJ, but no presence on Apple Music at all? I know I’ll have a great time, but I don’t see myself coming back to ACL any time soon after this year at this point. Sad, ‘cause we used to go every other year and the lineups were always pretty great.
