My college says my SAI is 32,207 which disqualifies me for significant federal funding but my family is poor and this makes no sense.
I googled it and an SAI like that means my parents are making high six figures. I have 11 siblings and have been poor my entire life. My parents have literally no assets to their name and my father does not have a high paying job.
As far as I can tell the only way this could happen is if my parents incorrectly entered financial information. Or I guess they have secretly been making a shit ton of money or something.
Is this a mistake or are my parents secretly rich? And how can I fix this?
Thanks for any advice.
